That whole day scheme for the chorus was super clever. Day,dawn,noon, moon. Made it pretty catchy to listen to as well.

“Now I’m pacing back and forth and in my room” is angelically delivered, and that piano feels like the lap of waves against the bottom of my feet as I stare melancholically into the middle distance.
I also love the lines about how “I’m chasing you, till the day that you,” and “high noon,” they work so well for this thematically that it’s just ugghhhh.

So beautiful! I love how, even beyond the lyrics, so much of the song feels like it's Stolas'. Like the breathy high notes and the slightly broken voice quiver at the beginning of the final chorus. Just so sad and wonderful.
