Thank you for these videos! I've gone down this rabbit hole and it has taken away a lot of the anxiety I had toward starting a business. I am a teacher, and the idea of starting a business in any form has been scary to say the least. I had no idea where to start. Your videos, although I understand laws vary state to state, it has direct my research. I have just registered my first LLC to manage self-publishing my books. I feel much more empowered! Thank you!
Thank you for taking the time to put together all the helpful information. Will be filing for my 3rd LLC. I just don’t have enough to do. 🤣Blessings of health to you and your family. Meow
Thank you for the content, you mentioned that it’s a great time to start an LLC, I open mine on July 4th and was wondering if the Cares Acts comprehends loans for new businesses. Nothing that I’ve read about PPP or EIDL mentions “new businesses”. On min 2:00 you said you’ll explain this on a different video but you never put the link. Thank you, I really appreciate your videos.
Thanks for your videos! Since you're videos have been so helpful, do you have any recommendations for a someone with their CPA in the Triangle area, that could handle the LLC w/ S-corp taxes?
@@jimhart awesome, thank you! It's really a challenge trying to decide who just has their license and who puts in the effort and enthusiasm to stay current.
thank you for your information i want to form an LLc was trying to find a good name for my real estate investing business im a nuby in the real estate Investing so i had questions before i do that how could i get in touch with you to require a llc?
Hello- I have a small business (an LLC company) on the side in Virginia. I am currently still fortunate to be working at my employer’s company which did get the PPP and we are all working 40 hours a week. However, can I file an unemployment claim for my “private” company where I’m losing business and losing earnings due to the pandemic. I filed under “my” personal company for unemployment and was approved but I’m concerned they based the numbers on my fulltime job which is much more than I make on the side with my own part-time job on the side. When I filed, I entered the employer under “my” own personal business name, but they based the monetary determination under my fulltime job name which I don’t know how they even obtained that salary information. Please I would appreciate your feedback. I'm wondering if they processed this incorrectly. I've tried calling but only get automated messages and no person to speak with to inquire.
Why would an owner ever let their LLC be administratively dissolved on purpose? Are there any pro's that outweigh the cons? I license an innovation from an LLC that I just found out got administratively dissolved 6 months ago and the LLC hasn't informed they were dissolved. To make matters worse, this administratively dissolved LLC also own 10% of my active LLC that I license their patent with. Again, they haven't told me as a 10% share holder of my LLC (with their administratively dissolved LLC) that they were dissolved. This doesn't seem normal. So to sum things up: 01. I know they let their LLC be Administratively Dissolved on purpose by the state of Washington. My question is why? There has to be a reason you would let this happen on purpose. 02. As a licensee customer doesn't he have to let me know his LLC that holds the patent has been Administratively Dissolved? 03. His Administratively Dissolved LLC owns 10% of the shares of my active LLC? As a member of my LLC doesn't he have to inform us the LLC that holds shares in my company has been Administratively Dissolved? Thank you so much for whomever wants to take a crack at my questions.
Hello, I have a rental property in Illimois, I live in Texas I want to create an LLC for this property. How and where I will apply for LLC for this property? Thank you.
We can help with that. You would form the LLC in the state where the rental property is located. Here is the link to get started: hawthornlaw.net/diy-llc
@@jimhart thanks for answering, another question which one should be formed first? LLC that control the (businesses) LLCs or the LLC control the businesses? anonymous LLC?
Hi! first of all, THANK YOU for sharing your expertise through these videos, they have been really helpful to me. I am working on a startup and deciding how do I want the company to be taxed. Even though I understand all the potential tax savings with th S-Corp I think I will still be choosing C-Corp. In this case; should a form an LLC and request the IRS to be taxed as a C-Corp or just form a Corporation. Pros and Cons. Thanks in advance!
Dude. Friend to friend. It is obvious your mouth is getting very dry as you speak, and the sugary Starbucks isn't helping. Maybe you should just do cold water.
I just watched your other newer video on why you DONT need an LLC and now I'm left more confused than ever

Do you do the paperwork to form a LLC? If you do, how much do you charge?
Which is best for artists naming etc. That would be best to establish.

How do I Copyright or Trademark an online course and/or e-book?
Depends on if you are looking to copyright or trademark - they are two separate things with two different processes.
@@jimhart I'm not sure. Do you have breakdown on which is best?
@@PastorJulian you're looking at copyright, my friend.
Trademark is for logos or company names.
@@YumegakaMurakumo ok. Thanks
