The lead guitarist of the band Hide(pink hair guy) died of an accidental suicide in 1998. A few years a go the bands original bassist, taiji killed himself after being detained in prison(details to that are still very hazy. Both deaths still have a lot of mystery to them). Also the neck brace on Yohshiki(drummer/ leader of the band) is from how he head bangs when he drums. Hes had many surgeries through out the years, and cant drum like a crazy man like he use to because he could die from it. Still the band did eventually get back together and back in 2018 they even preformed at coachella. We are still waiting for their newest album which has apparently been done since 2017.
I recommend checking out more x japan and hides music career outside of x japan, his solo career, Hide, and his other band called ZILCH.
I was lucky to see them live in paris on one of their tours, also was able to sit 2m away from Yoshiki during a Q&A after watching We are X

As I know that day is 5,7000people that concert is XJapan last live(after last live they will disband....vocal toshi got brain wash...and yoshiki give toshi so much pressure on record new album,it make toshi things he can’t handle it,and their a woman(a member of brain wash team)appear at toshi life,it make toshi thinks that woman’s is gonna save him (but no,they cheat about money)after toshi join brain wash team(it call HOME OF HEART)the leader of brain wash team masaya brain wash toshi;X JAPAN=Devil ,it cause Toshi leave X JAPAN...here come last live....
