Most of these base models were bought by people who simply needed affordable transportation and as a result, they were driven into the ground. It's always nice to see a good example of one that survived and retained the original powertrain and wasn't tarted up to look like something it never was.
I bought one in 1978 worked on it for a day and drove it home cost 150.00 no rust had been the same family sence new but did not, look like that beauty it had 283 automatic those were the day's every one would always say that would be a nice car if was a 2 door 😎👍Doug , now 4 Drs are cool
Well I would say more that then era is kind of equaling out. The 2 doors used to be quite a bit higher than they are now. However the 4 door are growing in popularity a little as well. So people seem to be willing to invest more into them.
Proud, we are pure amazed at the quality that was preserved in this classic. It is all original with only 10k miles. It is amazing it is in this great of shape still. Anytime you would like to see more impressive classics check out our website. www.streetdreamstexas.com
about 95 percent of the 57s were sold with the jet intake front bumperetts not the current 95 percent now that have boobs the jet intake is the art work of the car this looks like a 57 chevy nice
Its also comforting to know that that dash trim over the clock was designed to never align up. I fought with mine for hours and it still couldn't do it any better.

@@StreetDreamsTexas I've passed a few 'supercars' on my travels.....even they stare out of their respective windows with what I hope is a perceived envy! Go boring or go American! The most beautiful car ever built in my opinion and a lifelong dream achieved. I wish you well with that beautiful motor.
I can understand where you are coming from, but in this particular case that would basically be sacrilege. This is all original and has the plastic from the dealership still over the seats. Only 10k original miles. It is of course understandable to upgrade to those things on an old wore out car. We of course cater to both categories of classic car enthusiasts. It is pretty amazing to see one this original. Especially with the plastic on the seats and stuff. Way cool!
Beautiful car. Flawless condition. My father had one like that at early 70s. It was a taxi here in Concepción Chile.
Nice!
Love those ecomonial 6 cylinder engine
This one is all original and still plastic on the seats. It was really neat to see.
Wow Amazing Awesome Gorgeous Car. I have a Chevrolet Bel Air 57 too, my ride is 4 door sport sedan. Regards from Europe Barcelona Spain
Thanks! This one was like new! It barely had any miles and it still had plastic on the seats.

We guess that these would be more on the four doors and the boobs were on the 2 door. The Canadian ones didn't have the rubber on the boob tips.

LOL! Sometimes you just have to learn the hard way. Believe me we understand.

Just purchased a 4 dr here in the UK. I truly wish you could see the reception she gets.
Nice! I am sure it gets all the looks! We have had several international guests that tell us how it's like you were driving a super car.

This is a beauty. I'd do a little work on the engine to match the rest of the car.
Not sure what you mean by that. This is an all original from the factory 10k miles.
I would put this in my collection.. if I had a collection of more than one 57
LOL!
Neat it's original but Restorations are better IMO Better Paint upgrades , Brake System upgrades, Engine upgrades ect

Ours was a base model. Yours is an upgraded one.
Muy Buenos los videos pero si puedes no dejes de poner precis de los beiculos
Beiculos? There is a typed up description.
Strange that it would be a six with power brakes! The 235 six has more than adequate power!
Yea either way as long as it works. This was an impressive find.
