For your moon deer pattern, consider starting with the outline, then work round and round the outline. This works best if you want to emphasize the shape of the object. I have used this to emphasize the shape of a teapot and a snowman.
Jean, That looks like a good idea! I have never stitched with variated floss because I don't like the stripes, but your idea makes that I will try sometime.

For the Owl Forest picture [ with the deer ] I would stitch that green in the leaves up & down, rather than across. I think it
would look a lot better. Love the Bothy Threads pattern with the mushrooms & mice, that will be fun to stitch.

Hello. You accomplished a lot of stitching in February. The pieces are beautiful, I especially like the mandala the flowers pop on the black. I purchased your Jesus loves me pillow. I think you are a designer. Just as a FYI in the US we call the hoop an embroidery hoop. All the best

Hi Brigitte, wat leuk dat je die gaat maken. Is echt een prachtig stuk. Ik denk dat ik een 50x55 cm 20 ct aida had. Maar eigenlijk is die wel erg groot... dus als je geen enorme passe partout wilt wanneer je gaat inlijsten kun je ook wel een kleiner stuk stof nemen (voor 20 ct in ieder geval). Heel veel plezier!
Wat zijn ze toch leuk die Bothy threads kits. Ik kwam er vanochtend achter dat ik deze video gemist had, gauw maar even ingehaald voor ik ga werken. Fijn weekend! 🌷
We zijn er maar druk mee ;). Te veel flosstubes om bij te houden soms! Nog een fijne zondagavond!

Hi. My name is Patti from Ohio, United States. I was so happy to see your rainbow piece. When I first found your Flosstube, you mentioned this pattern. I absolutely loved it, so I bought the pattern. I started it at the top left corner 😁, and it is such a very fun stitch. However, I have 3 great grandchildren, and at present, am stitching a cow for one, because she just adores them, and a unicorn for the other. The rainbow project has taken back burner for now. So today, when I saw you had another Flosstube, it was exciting to see how far you had gotten on yours. Your stitching projects are beautiful. The red and black is simply stunning! Happy, blessed stitching...

I love your Jesus Loves Me project. You have a great talent. All your projects are so beautiful. B5200 is a brighter white than Blanc in my opinion. I loved your Landmarks piece so much I had to buy The Twinchie Project by Carolyn Manning and it has 54 2" blocks but mine are of flowers & not landmarks. If I stitch 115 stitches a day I will get mine done next year. I am stitching it on 18 count aida cloth and I am loving it. I will enjoy yours every time you show it. I do my stitching in the morning too. Happy Stitching.

Hoi Hanneke, gefeliciteerd met je eigen ontwerp. Het ziet er zo mooi uit. Ik heb een vraagje, ik zag op al je needleminders twee naalden zitten. Waarom is dat? Waar gebruik je de tweede voor?
Dank je wel :). Dat is heel scherp van je en ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat er geen echte reden is. Het is wel zo dat ik geregeld mijn naald kwijt ben en het is dan handig meer dan 1 op mijn needleminder te hebben zodat ik wel verder kan. Dan vind ik vanzelf die andere weer terug ;).
