It's good film and you get to see how the DBs can move, especially when they are in man coverage on an island with no safety help, can't play leverage, 2 and 3 way "go's" for the WR, who are all athletic. For the most part, I thought all the DBs for the most part stayed in phase as best they could. No standouts but a lot of good athletes, especially the Auburn contingent and the Phillips kid. Brownlee Jr. showed skills too.
Phillips James Melton Brownlee are all going to make some teams very happy. Mitchell had some nice moments, but McCaffrey and Corley beat him multiple times. A bit disappointed. Sometimes I think draft analysts see what they want to. McConkey looked nice. Pearsall by far the best looking WR out there and Thrash looked nice as well. Legette struggled.
Yesterday a few people were saying Ladd did not look good against press coverage and could not get separation. Well today that was not an issue as he cooked just about every defender that tried to lock him up. He is a sponge that soaks up stuff faster than just about Wr I've ever seen. After highschool he had to get better with routes fast , because he was everything for North Murray and played QB, CB, WR, kick returner, and punt returner. A footwork drill about 2 weeks after his HS basketball season was over was sloppy and choppy with a lazy technique. A month later, after training with WR gurus, he could run a cone drill like he had done it thousands of times and been a WR all his life. Great kid who will only get better as NFL training and coaching will make him a good receiver in the NFL very fast.
@@Blaketv0 No, a life story would be that I've watched this kid play since he was 7 years old playing for the Mean Machine in Murray county's rec league. Then at Bagley Middle School where he was one of the smallest guys on the team, or when he came to north Murray, he was 5'7" and 135lbs max, but he was so quick that one on the field could get a clean hit on him. My point was that he makes very quick fixes for any deficiency in his game. From the start of day 2 of practice, he struggled with press coverage and once a defender got hands on him it was over. Later in the day, he started to figure it out, and on day 2 of press, he rarely got jammed and used his hands to disengage, much like a defensive end does to a tackle. All of that to say, he will only get better and has done so already at the Senior Bowl. What did you want me to say, that he's a Wes Welker or Cooper Cupp comp, just like everyone else does?
Every one of these clips I watched Jimmy Brownlee Jr is THEE BEST DB OUT THERE he won 98% of his reps no holding either, draft stock just went WAY UP for him
The angle didn't show it but even on the 1 or 2 reps he got beat at the release he guessed right and was able to get back in phase. He had a great week.
This is a bit of a misnomer. The game can help but scouts, NFL teams place more emphasis on the interviews and practices at the Senior Bowl. WR/DB 1 on 1s should be taken with a grain of salt. But there is a lot to take away from the practices.
@@cpgmNFLDraft yeah that's why practices shouldnt be the all & be all. I get u playing against random competition & u get to see guys in not in plan environment. I'm glad for Quinyon Mitchell Jarvis Brownlee Jr & Jairus Monroe & . Imma CB guy , but also a guy who like to see that guy whos least on scouts the mock draft board. It's plenty including those in Arena league CFL USFL etc.
@@psychoticdropshots4165I completely expected that from him. He couldn’t get separation at UGA either 🤷🏽♂️ he’s 50/50 ball or bust. No explosion and he’s not a technician route wise either.
Jamari thrash look nice
Andru Philips is a smooth criminal. Like the way he moves
He'll be the steal of the draft on defense. I'm calling it.
Elijah Jones really seems super underrated. He's had a phenomenal week.
Brownlee Jr. is projected to get undrafted… this guys been the best DB here
Facts
Quinyon been the best
He is practicing well but after he single handedly lost FSU a game vs JACKSONVILLE STATE I'll never trust him
He looks sick for sure. Same with Flournoy.
@@vincentgordon4221 nope. Malachi Corley had his way with him.
These are awesome. Thanks so much!!! 🙏

Andru Phillips been balling out
Phillips
James
Melton
Brownlee
are all going to make some teams very happy.

Elijah Jones and Carlton Johnson aren’t being talked about enough

Bro just say he can beat press. You gave a whole life story just say he’s a decent receiver 😂

Not sure about the WR talent.. but the DB’s got some ability.
thash and brownlee continuing to impress!
Jamari Thrash 😯🔥
Jack saint been getting clamped all canp
Jamari Thrash looked un-coverable

This year corner back class is tiny 😂
Do we have a podcast scheduled for tonight, or are you guys taking the night off?
We'll be live tonight
Jamari Thrash is making himself a lot of money
The way you slow roll the letters of the player names makes it hard to watch AND read, so i had to watch every play twice!
Dude, dont cut out the WR stance. Show each route from beginning to end.
I'm looking forward to who performed well during game. The practice cool , but the game is what matters🔎

thrash nit the fastest but he so smooth
He's pretty Damm fast. But he's playing under control.
Nehemiah Pritchett 🔒
Like half the team was missing in this
Day 3... injuries, others have left
Whoever was recording and can't hold a steady camera should be fired.
Thrash gonna be a problem
The QB play is awful
Not impressed by any WR. None get separation consistently.
McConkey does
Marcus rosemy jacksaint was quite disappointing
