36:46 Holy hecka this is solid gold advice for any young aspiring player / athlete about visualisation in a game.. thanks for the tips and podcast lads
Argentina capitalized on the All Blacks mistakes and grew in confidence because of it. The two passes that went backwards from Savea and McKenzie which resulted in Creevy's try. The bat back by Sevu Reece which resulted in Carreras try. Bad skill execution also, the forward pass from McKenzie to Will Jordan in the leadup to the try that was disallowed. McKenzie's inability to ice the game with the missed penalty in front with 10 minutes remaining would've given them an 8 point buffer. It's nothing that can't be rectified.
100% AAANNND.... this playing group too would have been over-confident. Fantastic to be having these learnings so early in this coaching groups tenure. Frankly I could care-less if we lose more so long as we're growing season on season timing it to win a World Cup.
If one or two players underperform then blame the individuals. If the whole team underperforms then, let’s admit it, it is the COACHES. Razor kept saying after past three games that the team was not doing what they did at practices. Looks like the message got through and the players were lost …. as practise did not match reality. The ABs lacked imagination / creativity…. a trait that ABs are well known for. I think Razor forgot that this is not super rugby … it is test level rugby. Coaches forgot that style of play should change through evolution, not revolution. Very disappointed with media. If this was Foster, how would they react? Media … please be honest.
So much talent available in the squad- we just need the right balance for the game plan. My thoughts on loosies (changes) are 6. Sittiti, 7. Cane 8. Savea (Finau and Jacobsen/ Blackadder off the bench). The backs are 10. Barrett 11. Caleb Clarke, 14. Talea or Love 15. Jordan (Ruben Love / Talea and DMac on the bench). Remember that we have a very calm and skilled skilled Harry Plummer as well.
Welcome to International rugby RR. I have a huge respect for his Super rugby record, helped in no small way by having 12plus AB's in his squad. Is NZ rugby missing SA's involvement at Super level, far less physical these days? Great show Guys, thank you!!
Only a year ago the mighty ABs got hammered by Boks in Nelspruit & a week later beat the Boks in JHBurg; they’ll be back! Also, the Argies tend to over-celebrate after a victory like that! Also think guys like Barrett & Cane back in the pack will make a massive difference.
Don´t think they will over celebrate like the first time they beat the AB in NZ, is not unusual now to beat them, if the AB win the next saturday it will be because they play better, not something mental.
Argentina played amazing in the 1st half, NZ played poorly in 2nd half. I loved that first half of rugby, particularly off the back of watching SA/Aus, both Argentina and NZ looked much better and kicked better than any of the single terrible kicks in SA game. The ball control from Argentina was amazing, it's not like you can just go into a game planning to not have scrums. The scrums when they eventually came were exactly what i expected of the new rules, Argentina backs off, the worst that can happen to them is giving away a free kick, instead they get the lucky rub of the green 3 times playing a negative fallback scrum.
Why they keep avoiding the question about size? He got it bang on. We need to have some size, some big ball runners. Esp in the loose trio. Savea needs to play 7. Bring in Jacobson at 8 and Finau at 6. All Blacks used to dominate the world from 2011 to 2015 when they had Whitelock/Rettalick/Kaino/Mcaw/Read in the forward pack. That was a huge dominant pack. We currently lack size in the forward pack. I mean look at the Boks.
That was the weakest all-black team for 25 years-small and old. What was Razor thinking? I was just starting to feel like we understood size is 25% of the game. Then this. Somehow, he wanted to play the Auckland game without the size. The treatment of Hoskins and Akira is appalling. TJ Codie and Alb (especially at Outside Centre) are yesterday's men. Shocking.
No they are all very good players. Nz camp just out of touch with reality. Size matter. Sometimes if you cant run around them you need to run through them. Go look at Ezebeth when he started at first for WP. SA realized he had the skill but skill was not enough. They added some weight and the rest is history.
The back row doesn’t impress me - really need big dominating 6 and 8. For once listening to some actually smart commentators - thanks James for your comments - really spot on and well measured.
Knock on law was correct. Ball came off the hands/ arms and was not caught and controlled before hitting the ground, regardless of it was kicked Player van fly kick it without it touching his arms and it would not be a knock.
Razor is not confident in front of the media, looks stressed in the Coaches Box, and his general demeanor isn't lifting the players. The solidity of control and guidance from the main man is a fundamental plank of a team. We don't have that right now. We must ask the question have we made the right choice of coach. Time will tell.
Learnings. A term devised by coaches, pundits and Ab players in NZ. First used after being outmuscled and outsmarted by Argentina. In simple terms you need adults in that coaching booth. Otherwise there’s no break dancing after the match. Please respect test matches, this is not super rugby.
New Zealand rugby peaked nine years ago at the 2015 RWC and we're still trying to live on past glories. The majority of this current squad would never have got into the 2015 RWC team. The All Blacks are mediocre, Super rugby is mediocre and provincial rugby is mediocre. Even NZR's board are fighting internally about the game's future. Rugby is in slow decline in New Zealand. That's the brutal truth.
All Black pundits always cover for THERE TEAM INSTEAD OF BEING honest and aknowledge they are not up to standard. This happen to all there platforms. There supporters are more honest. Listen what they said: we lost the game the Pumas didnt win it. Each time they lost it is they lost the other team is never good enough to win a game. This arrogance make it worse. Now they want to scrum but previous years they want free play The Boks they said slow the game down. These guys is not honest - very bad. The more they cover up the longer they will stay in this poor state.

I'm thinking the media are as startled as we are. 😢
Imagine the moaning if Foster had coached that loss. TBH am glad they're silent, the couch coaches got out of hand on Foster

In the 1st half Argentina kept the ABs ahead with a 10-2 penalty count. 2nd half the count was about even & Argentina won it.

Argentina have some very big, experienced loose forwards in Matera and Kremer and new lock Molina - all big, robust 'go foward' forwards.
Hence the answer. Get some big loosies and give them experience.
Argentina played amazing in the 1st half, NZ played poorly in 2nd half.

Nothing went wrong. Argentina were just better on the day. But this Saturday is a new day.😮

100% agree with you
Yep

And another 2m+, 115kg+ lock. Mass plays a major role in the colission.
@@johnnickysoldaat6601 Absolutely agree. Vaa’i is not setting the world a light either. Tucker from the highlanders or the German kid?
We need longer caterpillars thanks Bryn.
All 4 test we have been horrible a exiting off the kick off. Crucial to exit well after points.

The All Blacks we’re beaten by a better team plain and simple.
Agree! Pumas deserved the win against that limp performance.
88-V-..-A-..-N-88
Shuddup your moms plain and simple lol
If you don’t think Nz played crap you’re a lying goose lol foh with that BS talk
8:13 Don't agree with James that NZ lost argies didn't win . All credit to los Pumas great WIN !
The All Blacks are being so creative they decided that scrums are not for them.
Is Jip's whole head the shape of a rugby ball?
😂😂😂😂

Don’t be too harsh on the AB’s. Everyone has an off day. They will decimate Pumas next week.
Mmmm...., no te apures tanto....
He lost control of the ball it’s a knock on
No heart and first five is wrong
Put Stephen Perofeta there
Jacobsen!!! Oh God. A total tradesman. Finau has been absent, but we have to try again.
Didint win collisions, didint clean well - The Blues did this the whole super rugby season yet only Darry and dalton are in the team ffs🤦♂️

They didn’t win, we lost….. that’s a new t-shirt coming up online. Even worst than JK
A couple of average super rugby players telling the All Blacks how to play. Get some decent analysers on.
