+ta ponn was jimmy trying to play the race card?

Interesting fact about Australia:
We don't cook 'shrimp' on a barby. We call them 'prawns' and having been to a thousand barbecues in my lifetime, I've never once seen anyone cook them. (Sausages and steak, that's where its at!).
Mining Forge THAT AINT LIVIN!! GET ON IT SON BBQS COOK ALL MEAT ALL THE TIME
I was just making a casual suggestion that our friend mining forge attend a barbecue that cooks all the delicious meats available while also noting that by only eating sausages and steaks at barbecues he is not living a true and happy lifestyle.
Mining Forge lamb chops, mate.
every place has stereotypesx
+maria Merry merry king of the bush is he.
Im on a talk host animal clip roll here! you?
I am now been going1 on for a week O_O

It will never stop ;__;
omg yes
same
I've seen a porcupine, hyena, elephant, bison and my favorite, chameleon
Jimmy Fallon has an amazing talent for making everything awkward and uncomfortable. This could easily have been really funny, but he just came off as really tense and grumpy
cat thornberg right?!
Its part of the act
+CaptainJackSparrcw everything is an act when you have no talent.
+cat thornberg Grumpy with the animal guy, just like David & Jack Hanna were - it's an act.
+cat thornberg ITS AN ACT
I love how irritating Jeff is. It's amazing. I love how uncomfortable he makes Jimmy.
me too.
Ingmar Fris salty
+Viper Eighty Seven he is irritating
Ingmar Fris make him suffer
Kookaburras are very intelligent birds. I have a group of four to six visit almost every day, with one or two of them landing on my porch, and they'll let me pat them. They come at the same time whenever they visit, and hang around to see if I'll feed them (I avoid it for the most part, I don't want them dependant).
But they're very sweet and very smart, and aren't aggressive at all.
Janet Ward Well yes, in this case.
I have two that land on my window everyday and I always feed them coz why the fuck not. You don't see them around urban areas much because they get driven away by magpies n shit so I think it's fine to give 'em hand.
bukueOner Oh yeah a little bit here and there, no problemo aye, I just avoid feeding them every day cause otherwise they'll get too domesticated. But I live out in a heavily forested area so also if some come to visit, could end up having twenty or thirty rock up one day.
KidsWithGuns1992 They wont become domesticated just by feeding them. That's a refining process that takes many generations to work. They're also a low birth rate species that are very territorial, so I doubt you'll get whole groups coming to your place at once unlike magpies or butcherbirds which will swarm your place if you're not careful.
You are such a wise and intelligent person thank you for thinking about what's best for the birds
Also kookaburras laugh all day long, they do do it before going to bed and early just after they wake up, but they laugh constantly throughout the day intermittently. Its a territorial thing.
"then you just go boss hog on some cheeseburgers like WASSUUUUUUUUP!" lol i love this guy hahaha xD
The way the head of the bird stays in the EXACT same place while he moves his body amazes me soo much
When they were making the noises the kookaburra was like:"What a bunch of idiots..."
so every australians reaction to yanks, gotcha :P jk
this guy is awesome!! on a marathon watching his videos with jimmy
WE DONT EVEN SAY SHRIMP WE SAY PRAWN
+Idunnolol It's an oooooooold misconception.
is there any problem with that...
Aez Aljeto yes, because Other countries say "put another shrimp on the barbie" to imitate us Australians when that's not even how we say it. It's super cringey
Near .N
They're both tasty.
+immyimmi Not only that we never put shrimps/prawns on the BBQ lol. I've no idea where this famous saying originated
ITS FUCKING PRAWN NOT SHRIMP!!!!!!!
Fucking yankee retards!
Poor Kookaburra
Harrison Allen the most intelligent mammal there.
Harrison Allen no they arent.
They're a fucking wild bird.
Harrison Allen I didn't know you where allowed to keep them as pets.
i love the way jeff musial presents his critters! makes me laugh..and learn something new about the critters
hahahaha the possum is just drooling everywhere and carrying on
Jimmy seems so pissed lol
"He winks at me then he drools"
They drool a LOT!
"The roots, ma boys". Every time hilarious
I love the banter these two have!
I saw a kookaburra up close at a zoo once. He wouldn't call, he just sat on his branch and posed while I took pics of him lol.
And I can't tell if the opossum is cute or ugly.
Kookaburra sitting in the old gum tree
Picking all the gumballs it can see
STOP
KOOKABURRA STOP
Kookaburra save some gum for me
....I learned that song from Barney when I was a kid. I've been waiting 20 YEARS FOR THIS MOMENT. THANK YOU JIMMY
u got the words wrong mate
Kookaburra sits on the old gum tree
Merry merry king of the bushes he
Laugh kookaburra laugh
Kookaburra gay your life must be
He makes me laugh from the inside. Makes me smile
i'm binging watching jeff too omfg ahahhaah when they were trying to make the bird call I DIED
I've never seen, or even heard of, a Kookaburra stealing anything from a BBQ. Let along a shrimp -- LoL (Paul Hogan's ad made an everlasting impact it seems). The previous video I saw, of a Kookaburra in a San Diego Zoo, said the same thing about them nicking food off the BBQ. Mystified.
***** We have a family of 9 Kookas living around our property and I have witnessed them diving to steal the odd snag off the hotplate many times. I have also seen them pick up full-sized brown snakes and carry them high up before dropping them for the kill. They are generally very friendly to humans and often sit on the hills hoist and go for a ride while we hang the washing out. Amazing birds.
ellystripes Thanks for sharing! Yours are indeed sneaky kookas! Doe you leave the barbie unattended? Someone's always fiddlings with our BBQ when things are cooking, so perhaps we don't give the kookas a chance to snatch anything. I really thought this video was making that up. Ha! I've seen them with the snakes, too, and I love their spritely call. My great gran apparently used to yell back at them, "Don't laugh at me, *I'm* not pregnant!" ;-)
*****
Yes usually someone is standing fairly close! Years ago we had one attempt to steal meat off the table when we were eating on the deck, but he slightly overshot it and smacked into a salad bowl instead. They are not remotely afraid of us haha.
ellystripes Haha, what entertainment! :D
***** Yeah, I went to Taronga zoo and bought some fish and chips. As soon as I opened my meal, a Kookaburra snatched a whole piece of fish within seconds. :p
Aw! I wanna snuggle the possum. It's so scared :(
That opossum looked very cute!!!!!!😍😍😍
I really want to hear that bird laugh. What a beautiful birdie.
They're kookaburras, not 'laughing kookaburras'.
They are Laughing Kookaburra's. we have two species, that mentioned and the blue-winged Kookaburra
The poor bird was shaking from beginning to end :(
***** I thought he's trembling from fear.
Australian here. That bird was fine. Kookaburras are pretty chill around people. They will fly right up to a massive family BBQ, sit in the nearest tree and shout at everyone. If you meant the weird vibrating thing he was doing while they were making that weird noise, they were trying to trigger him into making some noise, and they nearly managed it, because he was trembling with the urge to do his call, but clearly he was feeling very shy about doing a territory call in front of a bunch of strangers in a strange place.
As for the poop, I call deliberate shenanigans. Kookaburras are known assholes.
That kookaburra is adorable! :D
jimmy is such a good person! like all his shows
i found a possom in my garbage....scared the fuck out of me.
This guy needs the drummer to do "bud dum tiss" after each of his (cough) jokes.
ikr theyre "his boys"
The bird is like "Dude I already left you something!!!":))))))
Every animal is one of his favorites
The Roots..!! My Boys... :D
I cringe for all the reasons we want to ignore... but you can't. And the way he says it too with a slight drawl. Very uncomfortable. Sure it gets the hackles up a bit for The Roots too.
BugsyMcFerren Wow, some people are oversensitive over nothing. A slight drawl makes you very uncomfortable SMH
Kookaburra isn't pronounce like Kooookaburra, the oo sound is the same as in took. Also, this is just a baby, because of its small size, coloration and not having a developed tail. Only mature adult Kookaburras call (laugh).
A kookaburra actually snatched a sausage from my friend when she was barbecuing in Australia lol
Me too!!!
love this dude jeff
it's all acting. he's rude on purpose.
so hes like tosh.0?
if so all need to be is racist xD
oh wait he already is most of the time
***** how the hell am i stupid...
dumbass
The bird is shaking :(
Lol that's because he was about to respond to their retarded noises if they kept going at it.
Keti Kanchashvili It's also a juvenile and is probably only newly weaned. No wonder the poor thing is scared. :-(
A year and a half to two years is short for drooling..... The bird is so cute.
First Fallon clip I've ever seen where he's not fake laughing and slapping his desk.
i hate it when Americans make the "shrimp on the barbie" joke-_-, we don't even call them shrimp in Australia, they're called prawns, and who cooks prawns on the barbecue?
ello guvna
Many Australias cook prawns on the BBQ...
capricorn1255 I've only ever had them in salad.
GamerDares Wins l personally don't like them cooked on the bbq but prefer them in what we call a "Prawn Cocktail" served cold over lettuce...with a dressing similar to 1000 Island (mayo, tomato sauce, worcestshire sauce etc)...now l'm craving one and it's 1.41am :)
That bird is petrified. And where are her tail feathers? Kookaburrahs used to be common around where I live, but they keep knocking down trees and putting up houses. Now, I have to drive over an hour west to hear a Kookie. My Nephew freaked out the first time he heard one and he was 10. We used to have a song about them when I was a kid but, progress I guess.
+verticalsmurf Maybe they trim her tail so she doesn't fly away? Or maybe she's been hurt & is rehabilitating. ??
+tkmaz They trim the wings to stop them flying, not the tail because they need that for balance, plus the poor thing is trembling. But thank you anyway. Maybe she is in rehab, but then why would they put her on a stage?
Look how the bird is shivering... surely not because its cold...
-.-
Oh poor social justice warrior, are you able to recover from your hurt feelings my little snowflake?
Or do you want me to call mommy and have her make you a nice warm coco?
Who's a good little cute kiddy? Yes you are, yes you are! hootsie ootsie boo boo.
Hes amazing
1:34 This is what psychosis looks/sounds like.
"Then they just get super obese.... And pass away 😌"
Love this guy
Oh my gosh the bird did exactly what I was afraid it would do: Crap on the desk XD lol!
it not a Laughing Kookaburra its just Kookaburra
Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree
Merry merry king of the bushes he
Laugh kookaburra, kookaburra laugh
Kookaburra how gay your life must be!
This is a little song that I learned choir~ I have no idea if I'm spelling kookaburra right
Kookaburra sits on the old gum tree
Merry, Merry, king of the bush is he
Laugh, Kookaburra, laugh, Kookaburra
Gay your life must be
Kookaburra sits on the old gum tree
Eating all the gum drops he can see
Stop, Kookaburra, stop Kookaburra
Save some there for me
Kookaburra sits on the old gum tree
Counting all the monkeys he can see
Laugh Kookaburra, laugh Kookaburra
That's not a monkey, that's me!
There are 3 more verses...the song was written in 1932 by Marion Sincalir for a contest being held by the Victorian Girl Guides.
The competition was for an "Australian round' song and Marion won it.
capricorn1255 I had no idea! Thanks for telling me! I can share it with my choir class!
capricorn1255 My Old friend used to sing: Kookaburra sits on the electric wire
jumping up and down cause his tails on fire -_-
I love kookaburra so much 💕💕💕
More please... i think Jeff is great :)
NOOOOOOOO!!!!!
It's NOT a shrimp, how many times America - Prawn
+Ellie Dublin Americans call it shrimp. Do you use electricity? How about cars? Well, you can thank America for that :) What can we thank Australia for? Malaria? Fuck off. It's shrimp.
+Tinyjb0... you've posted the same comment twice now just to antagonise & troll for an argument between Aussies & yanks. grow the fuck up ya tosser!!
You said kookaburra wrong and there is no such thing as shrimp and nobody ever says "Chuck a shrimp on the barbie"...
Lol the possum just drooling 😂
LOL the kookaburra was like O____O when they tried doing its call
We don't call them shrimp here in Australia, so please stop using that stupid saying.
Jimmy always seems embarrassed to do things. And I'm always just like, just do it man. Makes me wonder if he gets bad anxiety. Who cares if you make a fool of yourself just have fun!
ya like now days he makes a fool out of himself all the time
Our Aussie Kookaburra is prbly thinking " "bloody hell mate you both gota be kidding if you both think I'm gona Lough Like vibrating humans" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
i love jeff
alright everyone to clear it up about jimmy and jeff its an act
His pronunciation of kookaburra annoys me so much
***** exactly
***** well I don't leave my phone for 2 seconds
Not to mention calling it a 'Laughing Kookaburra.' smh.
AND HE SAID SHRIMP ON THE BARBIE. WE DON'T SAY THAT.
always enjoy Jeff, always in love with Jimmy
I love watching Americans see aussie animals for the first time. They get so excited and i love it when i see people enjoying our countries very diverse wildlife. I would be the same seeing a bear or a chipmunk. Life is there to be enjoyed and appreciated
How is this not on r/cringe yet?
Reddit!!
Jimmy looks quite uncomfortable around this guy. He doesn't seem to want him on the show at all.
I think the fact that it's so awkward is actually what makes this hilarious, I like him.
Every time when he said that animal is alright Jimmy always get scared more then he is :DDD
Man Jimmy really didn't like Jeff
This guy is so annoying that not even Jimmy can fake enthusiasm.
Kookaburra tried steeling a whole roast chicken at my picnic once. And they wake me up every morning. Gotta love them. ps we don't say shrimp, we say prawns
Fantastic, thrills you all the way.
he's trying so hard to be funny it's annoying
then don't watch
+Tomas Beramendi Yeah, but it's his show, so whaddayagonnado?
+Tomas Beramendi that's just typical Fallon.. I'm sure he means well.
+undeny i think he's talking about the animal guy
ash irwy yeah... i kinda already knew that buddy :p
I don't like Jeff. i've seen jimmy kimmel and conan do these animal videos and I loved theirs but this guy really gets on my nerves
I know right. He is very rude and using a lot of crude humor.
+J.K_horses Stop being a bitch
I was just stating my opinion. The humor he is using is very racist (towards Australians) and he is using many stereotypes that I don't appreciate. Your comment was very rude and it isn't kind to insult people for saying something was "rude".
She/he didn't do anything wrong, just said his opinion but the fact that you have sark for your profile picture makes me rly happy
Thank you.
Amazing animals!
why am i on an endless cycle of these videos? i have to sleepppp
Its pronounced ' cook - ah - burrah ' not ' kook - a - burrah' please people, please
That's only because of his accent though
I like our Australian possums better. That North American Opossum looks like a rat on steroids.
+Jessicaisrealawesome It's a beautiful creature in my opinion. They can get really aggressive though.
Only when threatened/cornered. Otherwise, they try to get away, or 'play possum'. Like he said about the teeth...50 of them, all very pointy and sharp. As you can see by my pic, I know a thing or two about them. And no, he didn't bite me when I dressed him up for Santa Claus.
LMFAO
Evil comment.
One of Jimmy’s best guests
Best part of this was watching them make noises at the Kookaburra and Kookaburra doesn't give a fuck. xD
It's annoying when he call's the Roots "My boys," a bit patronising...
Actually, it's a helluva lot worse than patronising !!!
Joey Wildlife may not have realised it, but "Boy" is what white slave owners used to call their black slaves.
(something similar happened to Muhammad Ali)
No wonder Jimmy shut it down so quickly, and I guess it was too tricky to edit out of the broadcast.
Haha pc generation much, he didnt use it maliciously it was used as a term for friendship like when he call's tucker his boy. The musicians reciprocated the gesture by nodding and raising there hand, it is the same as saying mate, homey, bud or bro. Just another pathetic vain attempt at adding more word's to the racist slang list. Boy is not a racial slang
OH get over it already
I really don't like this guy. He's so unprofessional with his animals and he tries too hard when he makes a joke. You're hear to show off your animals not make jokes.
"Heard all throughout the outback" more like throughout my bloody window at 4am every freaking morning
soooooooooo adorable 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
The bird owner was so cringey to watch.
I really hate this guest's personality
I really hate Jimmy Fallon's personality
What are you talking about I love him, lol he is hilarious.
Y'all shouldn't be watching any of them if you hate anything about them, seriously stop being rude😐
Pet_person_4_life 101 Except he’s a “personality”, so it’s on him to not be an obnoxious dick
*Omg now that Kookaburra song from 1st grade is in my head lmaoo*
omg the opossum
whats with the hosts of these late night shows treating the animals guys like assholes?...
Of all the cool animals jimmy like the opossum lol
+Fret Millen whats wrong with the Opossum? All animals are cool if you learn about them =) Even the animals we may see every day like Dogs and domesticated Cats have lots of cool traits and things about them.
That opossum WA SO CUTE!!
jeff is so funny im crying
