Getting it out was easy, reinstalling it was a pain. Tried for nearly an hour trying the other methods mentioned. The issue for me was the headliner was preventing it from going in, once I pulled the headliner down to allow the light to slide in, it went in smoothly. Give that a try if you are struggling to reinstall yours.
What about getting it back on, I replaced it because old one died and I’m not sure where the metal silver part is meant to be on the headlight , at what height of the left and right side
Before you replace a poor working brake light check each led with a multi meter because they might only need re-soldering due to age, heat from the sun and vibration, I've re-soldered more than six in different cars and the all worked as new.
I can not get mine to snap into place. I pull back on it but it does not seem to make it past those tabs and lock into place. My light is constantly falling off now 🤦🏻 helpppp
Reinstallation was what was most difficult. Having the light pressed against the glass is the key.

Would this center brake light that you fit would fit audi a5 r the same or different pin connectors?

My 3RD brake light rattles like mad with the sub on that parcel shelf drives me insane going to have to take it off and put insulation on it
