Suraj's Opinion is Better It's her choice and she didn't impose it to him, there would be a problem if she did. Everyone makes their decisions based on their beliefs and it might have been rude or indelicate of her but in the end it's her choice. Why are her beliefs less than his? How is it "rational" to be against eating meat? You have the notion that if all apeople were vegan there would be problems to the ecosystems of the Earth.... If you went to a place where it was rude not to accept the food of the people and it happened to be meat, what would you do? I don't think you would eat meat just because of their beliefs and culture. In the end, you are thinking about your 'truth' and not in the major picture.
Suraj's Opinion is Better I'm not trying to justify her actions, I just think respect between people is the key. My words reflect my perspective and yes my words reflect me as a person and so do yours. Have you seen how rude you've been? Have you thought of how you're responding to me? On the contrary I've not degraded anyone or thought bad of their beliefs. And yes it was a good question and you couldn't give me a reasonable answer. You're just thinking about yourself and not the others. You actually don't understand other people cultures and it's not their place to change for you. Everyone needs to adapt in different circumstances and your actions reflect you. I would actually like to see you in a situation like that because I don't think you would make the right choice and as you said it's basic courtesies. And it's the same, maybe she needed to adapt and to choose not to eat meat to respect him and in the same way you should respect others if you were in a situation like the one I've said before. I don't think it's fair for you to come here and belittle her or anyone else when you and all of us have questionable responses and action to certain circumstances. And what are you saying? That you can't have beliefs because you don't know other perspectives? Everyone can have beliefs regardless of them being ignorant, that's how life works my friend. I don't oppose to changing beliefs and I reckon that you should always be informed and working towards the future. What's the need to have a proper answer? It's not like you are talking about it all the time. You shouldn't feel the need to defend yourself because you're feeling attacked. Not really related but a little and you don't have to answer if you don't want to: What's your religion?
How am I defending her? I'm calling you out on the things you've said. The fact that you refuse food even though it's not well received in your culture shows who you are. Now imagine going to other cultures and doing that. I don't think she is uncultured, I was using your words to come across with my point of view. I'm not defending him because he's not being attacked. You are talking about her and he has no purpose being in this conversation. Veganism might be the clearly the right thing to do for you but it isn't for me or for so many other people and I'm struggling to find your respect or empathy for those who don't practice your choice of life. I do have skype. I'll gladly Skype if it isn't to 'convert' me or anything like that. Interesting, I just asked about religion because it has to do a lot with the values a person has. I am Catholic.
It's not a personality trait per se, but it is an indication of the virtues that you want to represent. If you refuse to buy meat you are likely doing so out of compassion and selflessness; whereas if you buy meat - especially factory farmed meat - you are demonstrating the vices of cruelty and selfishness. I'm not saying that all meat eaters are inherently cruel, but that action does represent cruelty.

I think you are right.. maybe just wanted to see how he would react because obviously if he can't shut up about being vegan then that may be a deal breaker for her....
I feel the problem with him was, that he assumed she would want to eat something similar to him, mention it and move on. We can accept a vegan, but don't put it on others to share your views. The way i see it, in the wild, it's all about survival, any animal with meat hunts down others so they can eat and feed their kind. If i was stranded in the wild, they wouldn't care if i didn't want to harm them, they would protect themselves to the death. He reminds me of a rabbit, that mostly eats carrots and lettuce.
What "behavior" are u okay, can't handel someone not killing needlessly? And telling others, hey you're eatting a dead animal, they were alive and felt pain befor they were killed for your tastebuds.
It being natural doesn't equate to necessity. We don't eat meat for pleasure, we do it because of instinct. Those instincts like you say, are because we had to. It's also why so many get fat from sugar, because we need it and it isn't as widespread in the wild. While you can choose to live without eating meat, many that do lack nutrients. As someone who hates veg, I know that I certainly couldn't live healthily as a vegetarian or vegan. Plus there's tolerances for bugs even in your salads so at the end of the day it's easier to just accept that death is a part of life. Personally I'm quite hopeful towards lab grown meat which could one day reduce the resources needed for meat, lower methane emissions and potentially have high quality meat with ease. Changing the whole world to vegan just wouldn't work, so vegans should be allowed to their choices, and meat eaters the same. In this case I think she made a good choice, she found out early that he wasn't compatible. She could have ordered something vegetarian or vegan to go along with his views and only later find out that he was a complete tool.
"How are you not establishing this." Because you're more focused on your own biases rather than face the reality that life is cruel. As for why it wouldn't work, like I say, if most people suddenly swapped to veganism, so many people would end up with poor diets affecting their health, many industries would be completely flipped over which would be bad for the economy (of which money from many places uses animal by products), and the many animals that we raise would probably have to be slaughtered, because they sure as hell have no chance out in the wild. Frankly it's hard enough to give value to our own species considering how much people discriminate against each other, including yourself many times to several people in the comment section. Though I will admit that there are meat eaters that complain about veganism unprovoked which comes off as equally immature.
Suraj's Opinion is Shitter* well veganism seems to be an inherent nature to you cause you've replied to near enough every comment trying to stick up for that "Harry with an i" twat.. lool what a joke you are.
I relate to the girl a lot. I'm not vegetarian or Vegan, but like she said I don't consume large amounts of meat either. I'm just not opposed to eating it.
DeoxysDNA lies. I have people in my life who say this but every meal they eat has meat. you might not think you eat much meat but you do. (have many meals a day do you eat with meat? )
Mike Blaid Are you a mindreader? Have you been stalking the person that made the original comment to know their daily eating habits? If the answer is no to both of these questions then shut the hell up. Calling someone a liar when you have absolutely no proof whatsoever is ridiculous.
Then you should educate yourself more about veganism and the benefits. Not only for you, but to connect with every being around you. Imagine humans being killed as we kill animals today. Unimaginable right? It's the same thing.

charly charly Who says 'he cares'? A lot of vegans (not all) are vegan because they think it makes them interesting (why within 2 minutes do you know that they are vegan), they are like religious zealots. Most do little for animal rights. Most do it for some moral superiority. A lot do it as a control mechanism such as for weight loss. Why is there such a high co morbidity beween veganism and mental disorders. Of course some are truely vegan in every sense of the word, but to imply an absolute correlation between veganism and 'caring' for animals is fantasy. I should know, I inhabited that world for 16 years. There are more fakers than not.

Suraj's Opinion is Better ignorant? Her?

Imagine thinking being vegan is a personality trait
It's not a personality trait per se, but it is an indication of the virtues that you want to represent. If you refuse to buy meat you are likely doing so out of compassion and selflessness; whereas if you buy meat - especially factory farmed meat - you are demonstrating the vices of cruelty and selfishness. I'm not saying that all meat eaters are inherently cruel, but that action does represent cruelty.
@@spooky_bozo if thats the case why cant vegans shut tfu about being vegan?, why do vegans think not only does everyone need to know they are vegan but everyone should also be vegan too!. Its like someone doing charity work then taking to facebook to tell everyone what they have done and how compassionate and loving they are. its an ego massaging exercise, nobody gives a fuck.
@@stephenlord1986 How are you meant to raise awareness about a cause if you can't talk about it? Vegans don't speak about veganism to be egotistical, they speak about it because of the injustices that happen within the farming system. It's about the animals, not the humans, so stop concentrating on the messenger. You may not like hearing about veganism because you consume animal products, but that doesn't mean that animal agriculture isn't an exceptionally cruel and environmentally damaging industry.
@@spooky_bozo Ah yes, the transparent, passive aggressive tone of "I'm not saying I am better than you, but I am' nonsense. You are not superior in ANY way.
@@spooky_bozo Why have you assumed Stephen is a meat eater? Presumption is the trait of an irritating vegan. By all means, eat what you like, please stop preaching your self entitled (and deluded) superiority to others.

She defo tried to piss him off 😂
XBURROW 14 he deserved it
Imposing your beliefs onto others is not "the right thing". The food chain is natural, deal with it.
"How are you not establishing this."
Because you're more focused on your own biases rather than face the reality that life is cruel.
Suraj's Opinion is Better the 'right' thing is subjective

DeoxysDNA lies. I have people in my life who say this but every meal they eat has meat. you might not think you eat much meat but you do. (have many meals a day do you eat with meat? )
The people in your life does not equal everyone else in the world hun, humble yourself.
xD
Mike Blaid Are you a mindreader? Have you been stalking the person that made the original comment to know their daily eating habits? If the answer is no to both of these questions then shut the hell up. Calling someone a liar when you have absolutely no proof whatsoever is ridiculous.
Then you should educate yourself more about veganism and the benefits. Not only for you, but to connect with every being around you. Imagine humans being killed as we kill animals today. Unimaginable right? It's the same thing.

sydney mccaw unfortunately one that doesn’t tend to be true. Although if someone deliberately ordered a corpse and ate it in front of me to piss me off, I’d consider them the megacunt, not me. It’s always meaties that tend to get triggered anyway... they go on the defensive when their views are challenged.
Mimi Flaherty I was just saying that he was like the stereotypical vegan that is displayed in memes. Just like your reply is.
charly charly Who says 'he cares'? A lot of vegans (not all) are vegan because they think it makes them interesting (why within 2 minutes do you know that they are vegan), they are like religious zealots. Most do little for animal rights. Most do it for some moral superiority. A lot do it as a control mechanism such as for weight loss. Why is there such a high co morbidity beween veganism and mental disorders. Of course some are truely vegan in every sense of the word, but to imply an absolute correlation between veganism and 'caring' for animals is fantasy. I should know, I inhabited that world for 16 years. There are more fakers than not.

Meat eaters dont feel guilty LOL, the only time i feel guilty is when i forget to give my dog a piece....
What's the difference between a dog and a pig? Except that the pig is a lot smarter.
You should also not force your views on innocent and vulnerable animals and slit their throats just for your sandwich... (or pay for it)
Dan Cenow, thanks for reaffirming SunflowerAnna's point.
Vegetarians are usually people who don't realise that the dairy industry is the veal industry...
In the egg industry all male baby chickens are thrown into a macerator on the first day of life or suffocated...

Wow what a jerk. The guy of course. You just met the girl and you're telling her what she can and can't eat? She has no obligation to accommodate your unreasonable demands. I have vegan friends and they've never once shamed me for eating meat. The only time they even bring it up is if I ask, or if I offer them something they can't eat. Being vegan doesn't give you a license to be rude. I'm amazed the girl didn't just get up and walk away.
Being passive about sentient beings being raped and killed for your taste buds isn’t rude but ok. 😂😂😂
@a ggoogle user 454 I don't force my beliefs on anyone, my entire family eats meat, I never say anything but I've had strangers friends and family all tell me I should eat meat so in MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE meat eaters tell me and others to eat at not vegans, it could be different for you but not for me.
@Notre Aira I think you missed my point entirely, I was basically saying all animals are equal if you would eat a pig, why wouldn't you eat a dog. I don't appreciate the generalization of vegans picking a fight with you, it's like saying all cops are bad because some shot people, or saying all black people are bad because of one of them pissed you off. So many scenarios of stereotyping and generalizing people based on interactions you've had or seen on the media, it's not fair to vegans that they are seen and perceived this way even when some don't say anything. I can't control other people's lives I know that, my morals are probably different than yours if someone disagrees with me I don't call them a "crazy bitch" like you, I believe that no animal deserves to die for taste I think it's selfish that's my opinion you don't have to agree, I never said you had to, my point was so many people love there dogs wholeheartedly I know I myself would give my life in a heartbeat for one of my dogs, but why are dogs more important than for example a chicken? Who decided that a cow or a chickens life meant less than a dog? It's something I've always been curious about. I deleted my last two comments cause I did not like the way I was speaking and I do apologize for it but I never called you a "crazy bitch". Also this is online you don't have to read it.
@a ggoogle user 454 I see you wrote a comment making fun of vegans opinions and proving that you are the one discrediting others. Also I usually say that we had other sources of protein now so we don't need meat anymore but whatever think what you want I honestly don't care.
@@BabyVenomJoker exactly so many animals are forced to reproduce and the get slaughtered it's just so wrong I can't imagine ever being forced to have sex, give birth and then get killed and eaten. I feel for these animals.
“You can express yourself” *shames and guilt trips her for eating fish*
What a pathetic excuse of a man
Alex Small theres nothing wrong with shaming someone for eating fish... thats not the problem dumbass! The problem is the hypocrisy, says she can express herself and then shames her for doing that.
Alex Small side note, I don’t give a shit about these fish... not endangered, circle of life... even we die and are food for worms at some point
Alex Small you mustn’t be very smart then... humans shocking are different to animals 😱 we are by far superior in so many ways, plus we care more about animals than animals care about each other.
Alex Small it is fine for Humans to die, they just don’t because we are smarter and stronger than other animals, sure people do get killed by them and that is the circle of life
Alex Small I have to disagree on the animal product thing, it meat gives us protein and things harder to obtain from plants, plus you need less meat than grains to feed people meaning we’d need to plow down more land to farm more plants, more people would starve without meat than with it... besides without the care of humans, so many animals would have gone extinct, cows for example need us... don’t you care about the animals?
She’s actually hilarious.

If only he knew that combine harvesters grind up bulk insects and animals when they harvest.
Ffs this guy gives vegans a bad name,I'm vegan and my friends eat meat in front of me all the time and idgaf
Exactly, It's a personal choice.
"I'm an anti racist and my friends actively degrade black people in front of me all the time and idgaf."
You're a spaz, its not the same thing.
You're in denial.
Of what?
He looks like the abusive type, or typical "nice guy".
frida cadena definitely!
Suraj's Opinion is Better He's the epitome of this type of person. It only takes a few minutes to recognise that.
Suraj's Opinion is Better why has this hit such a nerve? You're actually so triggered.
Suraj's Opinion is Better she’s not judging him, she’s analyzing his body language and behaviour. I def think he has some deep issues
Suraj's Opinion is Better so when you can’t come up with something to say you just call people idiots? Wow, I’m impressed
You killed my friends 😂😂😂 don't lie lol you have no friends.
I have to wonder just how many times he goes to the ocean or an aquarium to see his friends, his only friends I suspect and has conversations with them. And the fishes reaction to him being their friend is for them to piss and shit in the water he swims in
Haaaahaaaa lol so funny 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣
Humans find him an obnoxious prick, Which is why he calls animals his friends.
@@robb1ngzomb1es51 he lives in the aquarium
The Bacon Sandwich Story was truly inspiring.
Speaking as a vegetarian, I cannot stand vegans/vegetarians like that who waffle on about it all day and tell other people what to eat.
It's vegans being sanctimonious that puts people off becoming vegan. You won't convert anybody with your attitude.
I love you, thank you!
Suraj's Opinion is Better you again?!!!
Suraj's Opinion is Better do you have a life outside trolling on UA-cam?
Props to her for not just getting up and leaving him as soon as he started trying to shame her
She should have ordered the steak
Extra bloody
stan2703 I don’t eat red meat and I tend to eat more fish than chicken but I would’ve gone out of my way to eat meat that night. The guy was so fucking annoying.
I'd order a second steak for him and if he wouldn't touch it I'd make him feel bad, that he is allowing his "friends" life go to waste ;-)
I would have
From the limited excerpts she seems to have such a good head on her shoulders. She didn't let him rile her but still called him out on his behaviour.
There is nothing wrong with being vegan. There is always something wrong with insisting people believe and live as you do. No matter what that belief is. You can not try to force someone to live like you. He needs to learn to respect people’s differences.
There is everything wrong with being vegan. period.
Spot on! Applies to all sorts! religion, sexuality, beliefs etc. have your own and that’s great, I’ll have mine and everyone gets along just fine!
I think that’s one of the biggest problems with people in the last few years... this “agree with me or fuck off” attitude.
It takes all kinds 😎👍🏻
@@fairlanewhip79 that's why I dont like the LGBTQ community because they try and push their sexuality into everything. Any move, game, TV show or book has to have a character that's in the LGBTQ community or they are discriminating against them.
I dont care if you are gay, trans or whatever (I have met so wonderful and kind people from that community so I dont hate them as a person), just don't push it onto everyone else. It ruins alot of things because they have to be changed or altered to not 'discriminate' against a group of people.
@@Shadow_1923 As opposed to there being absolutely no heterosexual characters in the media.
I'm gay and I hate forced representation, I find it pretty insulting, but I think there's a fine line between forced representation and simply including non-heterosexual characters because they exist in the real world.
And I'd like to see the line in the Gay Manifesto in which it demands that every form of media must include a gay character. All the LGBT community has in common is that they aren't heterosexual, any other opinions are their own. I'd love to meet this cabal of media-forcing gays so I can tell them to stop it, but I doubt you'll be able to just give me their phone number.
@N7 Nomax i'm not gonna lie, I once to pretended to be a vegan for this girl she was litteraly getting wet when she heard a guy was vegan etc so I played all along. It got me laid 😂😂😂🤣
