This was so fun! I know there are a ton more places I could go for poutine…where should I try next time? What’s your fav local spot? Let’s show some love to local!
Love this! I cannot wait until you guys can do these together again. When the pandemic is over you need to take a road trip to Montreal again and try different SMOKED MEAT!!
I loved Harvey's poutine! I lived in Ontario for a short time but have been an AmeriCan ever since! Love watching you guys because it makes me miss Canada so much. Also the fry with the hat is the best!
Nice to see the revisit. Your last video about poutine got us to try La Banquise when we visited Montreal in March of 2020. It was our last trip before Covid stopped travel. I think i have finally digested it.
So glad you guys found a way to keep doing videos. You never fail to make me smile! I like all the new shirt designs, but I gotta say, I would totally buy a "Poutine: It's Not Rocket Surgery" shirt!
Always liked, I'm already subscribed, I would love to see a Poutine food group shirt!!!😁💜 Glad you guys are back. Can't wait for the borders to open to see you guys do more trips.
All the designs are great! I think my fave is the one with the fries spelling out poutine. Thanks also for showing the Boon Burger one - that vegan poutine looked unexpectedly great!
Did you know that there are 8 Olive Garden locations in Canada in Langley BC, Edmonton, Calgary, Regina, Saskatoon and Winnipeg? Apparently they are eying a Windsor location and hopefully soon they will return to Ontario
@@kelliadamswityk7164 I went to the Polo Park location when I was in Winnipeg three times. From the Seafood Alfredo to the Tour of Italy and the Cheese Stuffed Shells, it was phenomenal. Oh, and the breadsticks👍
I no longer live near Canada. My local stores don't make poutine. But1 I have an artesenal cheese maker in my church who makes curds. Good curds. He lives ten minutes straight down the road from me. My son is a chef and he taught me how to make really good gravy. I live in the middle of PA potato country, right near a chip factory. I think I can make my own poutine. Thanks for the encouragement this vid was for me to try this.
If you have gravy and cheese curds, you're in business . If you have fresh french fries, you will have the best poutine . Frozen fries are good and less expensives and save a lot of time,, but nothing beats the taste of a fresh potatoe that has been cleaned, sliced and blanched in the morning . I'd be happy to stop by and eat your poutine when I'll travel back south of the border
I'll be by.... I've been working on date bars, personally (aka crumbles aka matrimonial cake). Just have such a hankering for them...(A Canuck in Alabama)
Love the hot tub poutine design!! Such a great idea :) We love poutine and were super happy when you both visited Montreal for the ultimate poutine night !
Harvey's poutine gravy used to be even better when they introduced it on the menu. It had a slight hint of maple flavoring as an undertone to the taste which just was amazing. I so miss that!
There’s a Smokes Poutinerie in Las Vegas. There used to be one in Los Angeles but it closed. There are some restaurants in Los Angeles that have poutine on their menu though. I’ve been watching your videos on marathon the last couple days. Go Bills, Go Sabres! Commenting from Lewiston NY!
Funny, I recently bought one of your "Poutine, it's not rocket science" t-shirts. I love it, and gets some great reactions (from "Absolutely!" to "What's poutine?")! Keep up the great work!
Love your videos! You had me smiling and laughing the whole time. The Food Pyramid Poutine really struck my memory bone and hit the feels, I loved it. The clever Hot Tub came a close second. It's not brain science, its rocket surgery is hilarious. From a friend in Oakville, Ontario a quick drive down the road from Burlington! You guys are great.
Keep up the great content! I go to Great Canadian Poutinerie weekly here in Ottawa. There are tons of great food trucks in town that also offer great Poutine.
I love "Poutine. It's not brain science." You guys are hilarious! I like the french fry holding the flag. WAIT!!! I DIDN'T SEE THE FRIES IN THE CONTAINER SITTING AROUND IN THE POUTINE HOT TUB!!! LOVE IT!!!
You guys need to do more videos per week omg best entertainment! Canada vs USA food trucks, street meat, beers, entertainment venues, culture districts and food, Amazon, beef jerky. Keep it going you two with all the hard work.
Poutine! Yummy! You 2 are awesome! 🤣😂👍 I loved that Poutine episode where you were able to go out together in Montreal...one of the best episodes ever! 😊👍👏 Interested how the vegan poutine will taste...😳 The “Big Mac” poutine looks heavenly. 7/10...👍Greek poutine looks awesome. 5.5/10 😳I’m craving poutine now.
Hi. I'm from Quebec and I want to say that a poutine is made of french fries, cheese curds and gravy, that is all. All other combination is not a poutine. I like your videos. Cheers!
i totally vote yes for the POUTINE - it's not rocket surgery shirt! i sent my son the link to the AmeriCan shirts. his wife and step daughter are canadians.
Thanks for the great episode again! The hot tub poutine is the best design among those. As for my fave place, if you come back to Montreal you have to try Chez Ma Tante (in Montreal North) it's just an iconic place.
I love the hot tub poutine idea! I’m a Canadian living in the US so one of your shirts would be perfect! Love you guys so much and I watch all your videos! I’m also part of the group you’re in on Facebook, Joseph! “Canadians in the US”
Long time, no see, Dudes! I'm an American midwesterner who tried poutine in Winnepeg, ah...14 years ago. I need a repeat. I love the French fry hot tub
I needed to try poutine as soon as I saw your last video in Montreal and fell in love and ended up making it myself a lot too because I'm in the US haha. I love the original shirt Jason made, but thought those poutine shirts would be awesome!
Have loved this channel since we found it a few months ago. You guys have great chemistry and are great friends :) For the designs, I like the hot tub one.... either that or the "Its not rocket surgery" LOL
im from montreal, and i actually consider the mcdonalds poutine to be my favourite. I prefer the crispy fries over the soggy ones from the traditional poutines
I love the last one (the one with the french fry and cheese hat) but I think you should put it on your favorite one (the word poutine in french fries) so you'd have the word in french fries but the "i" of poutine would be the french fry character from the last design. So a mix of the two would be my favorite.
You know what helps motion sickness? Wearing those Maple Leaf sunglasses. Great video. Definitely eating poutine tonight. Not sure if you know this but Swiss Chalet has poutine with homestyle gravy or the gravy used for dipping. Harvey's and Swiss Chalet are owned by the same company(Recipe Unlimited) so their poutine is similar. Stand alone Swiss Chalets use fresh cut potatoes for their French fries whereas Harvey's use frozen. There is a difference imo. If you thought Harvey's potine was good try Swiss Chalet's version. Remember you must go to a stand alone site. The Swiss Chalets that also serve Harvey's food use the frozen fries. Keep up the great work guys!
I'm a huge fan of these vids but also a vegan, animal rights guy, and involved in animal/wildlife rescue. It's a conflict. But this one actually, finally had something that not only could I eat, but seriously enjoy. Honestly, the next time I'm in TO, I'm driving to Boon Burger. Canada is much more vegetarian/vegan friendly than most of the US, so I'm not surprised at the existence of this place. The hotdog carts all over TO have had veggie dogs since the beginning of time and Harveys had veggie burgers for, what, maybe 15 years now? That kind of thing just started happening in the US maybe two years ago. Way to go Canada!
I like the french fry with the cheese hat! Thank you for making the AmeriCan apparel. My boyfriend of over 6 years is American and I am Canadian and we've done our entire relationship so far long distance, meeting up a few times a year so I appreciate any US/Canada stuff!
This was so fun! I know there are a ton more places I could go for poutine…where should I try next time? What’s your fav local spot? Let’s show some love to local!
You should compare Canadian and American chocolate milk. American chocolate milk tastes completely different.
Charcoal pit in Burlington! Right across the street from Boon Burger!
@@taniabourque9991 Ohh interesting!
The mess hall in Georgetown ON!! 🤤
Smokes poutine is a classic you should go there
Jason should open up an all poutine drive thru in buffalo!!!!
Great idea! I’d visit when we can finally cross the border again! 😂
The hot tub poutine one! But I would buy the “it’s not rocket surgery” shirt.
Agreed
100%
I prefer the brain science one.
Better yet, put the words on the back.
