All dams fill with sediments, a hidden "feature," slowly displacing water storage volume with mud. Reservoirs have water storage lifetimes. I have seen small reservoirs totally filled with sediment, thus useless. I am happy to see the Klamath start is journey to restoration. It has been working on the Elwha on the Olympic Peninsula.
Where did this chromium come from? Was it building in the sediment? If so, it was already in the water! Of course the clean out will stir things up, but guess what? It’s getting flushed out and won’t artificially build up in a hundred years worth of muck.
I think it's just really hard for people that don't know anything about a subject, or have no education, to listen to someone who is an expert in their field and highly educated! I'm sorry you can't understand hydrology, biology, and restoration work. Good luck with the rest of your life!😢
Cleanest with mininum impact on nature is agrivoltaics (solar panels on fields in vertical position, not taking any extra farm land and giving much needed shade to plants and cattle). It can be installed anywhere where there is farmland

Nature fixes itself. We just need to get out of the way.
Wiping out a river and its native species isn’t clean. The river and the scummy algae lakes the dams created weren’t exactly good.
Next remove the Hoover and be rid of water theft from the Colorado to the filth of las vegas
Save the dams
🤣 good luck
Oh, got it, 175X of " allowable" chromium is part of the plan, thanks for clearing that up.

@@manfredstrappen7491it’s being flushed down river so everybody can have some for decades to come.
This is just crazy
What's crazy? Restoring a river to its former glory? Or getting rid of a few dams that were killing the river?
Save the dams
How stupid is this??
The cleanest way to produce electricity known to man!
Always some genius "environmentalist" with round glasses leading the way!
Always some genius “accountants” with square glasses ruining rivers by turning it into shareholder cash leading the way!

@@georgehaydukeiii6396🤣 its cause your glasses are round isn't it?
@@edpeterson2293 It's because you are uneducated and ignorant.
