Watching her lawyer get so emotional 😭 tells me that this lady actually cared about her client. Such a terrible tragedy that happened to that poor baby. Prayers for this mother she has to live with what she done and I pray that she can work on her mental health and do good to help others who may be suffering.

Her attorney truly cares cause she knows this young lady never had a real chance in life. She never had any positive role model then to have that creepy boyfriend who probably groomed her. It doesn't make what she did right. There's no justifying that. She will have the rest of her life to reflect on her actions. I pray she gets the help she needs.

@StonedBarbiee - as much as I agree that she could have chosen a lifesaving path, the brainwashing by the piece of work that was the sperm-donor of this young girl destroyed her mental capacity in understanding there was a way out outside of taking both their lives. I cannot imagine killing my children, but as the judge said - the lack of support was evident during the trial.

Georgia is in the position 25 in crime rate among the 50 states. Perceptions are formed by feelings and feelings by emotions shaped by our senses. Since subjectivity shapes perception, perceptions are almost always wrong. Social media, in particular, influences our perceptions in the worse possible way, which leads to terrible judgements, misconceptions and decisions. In 2023, the state with the highest crime rate in the United States per 100,000 inhabitants was New Mexico. That year, the crime rate was 3,636.83 crimes per 100,000 people. In comparison, New Hampshire had the lowest crime rate at 996.11 crimes per 100,000 people.

30 years, the 20 years run at the same time, then she will be eligible for parole while the other 'parent' who groomed, medicated, imprisoned and gaslit her is free to continue his freeloading cult with his remaining two wives.

Ive been diagnosed with BPD ....its a hard thing to live with. When i first watched opening statements i hated this girl....after all the testimony i felt sorry but i dont agree with her actions at all. The judge is right BPD is something you have to live with for ever. It takes a lot of inner work to subdue the symptoms. Their is no meds you can take that cure it n it isnt curable. But with hard work and dedication you can become better....i feel sorry for her daughter and for her aswell. The narcissist she was trapped with should be in prison aswell.

Learning about narcissistic abusers and prayers helped me out with BPD. I'm a new person. Does the woman who stabbed her baby here definitely have BPD? This horrible narcissistic cult leader is the worst type of person that she could have gotten involved with . He made any of her symptoms so much worse and added onto them.

Horrible slow judge - but good decision for this mother. I hate cults, & for her to not feel a way out from that horrible man & his own laws/rules. Chloe Driver will regret this decision her whole life, - must be horrible to not feel that you can feel safe to ask someone to help you to get out of a cult. Disgusted by that poor excuse of a man.

Curious, well, the jury decided she doesn’t meet the criteria for not guilty by reason of mental insanity. They did find you guilty of guilty but with mental illness.
The requirements, not sure, but if i am not mistaken the burden is shifted from the state to the defense to show at the time she made that decision that she was not aware she knew right from wrong.
It's impossible to prove. While chole was on trial. If i was on that jury. What was the reasoning. How did she get involved with this colt, how much brainwashing did colt leaders have on her mental health. Is miss driver 100% responsible? For the murder? Yes. The circumstances? No.
I probably would have said "not guilty by reason of insanity " confine her to mental hospital for 15 years.
While Chloe might have killed her baby, the brainwashing, manipulation, and the isolation to get her husband of many wives to focus his attention back on her.
Judicial requirements for insanity defense, she says, have been the same for 200. years. The judge says. Maybe it's time to revise those regulations to give more of a challenge to state prosecutors to prove she knew right from wrong.
A cult takes control of your thoughts, how to think, and groom the women. Then, when the women murder their child due to their own nature needs and wants like to be loved, affection, be appreciated, listened to. The cult leader raises their hands i didn’t kill anyone.
They did though by taking her free will away, manipulating her, confusing her. The husband may not have physically killed that kid, but he laid the ground work

I know almost nothing of the case. What I do know is 30 with chance of Parole likely correct sentence. She looks remorseful and with true regret. Unlike Sarah Boone. Both judges dished out the appropriate sentence. Sarah B deserves no chance getting out. This lady / girl at least has a chance of discussing parole after 30. I really don’t want to know about the murder of young babies. It is too much to deal with.

I can not believe what I am reading. Do anyone remember this poor beautiful little baby that was not able to defend herself. You people are unreal. People praising a killer of a defendless baby. Sweet beautiful baby will not get to have a boyfriend, not go to school, not go to prom, not get married, not have children (children to protect), and so on. I never knew you innocent beautiful baby but, I love you.
She do not seem mentally ill to me. She just looks like she is trying to look so much like a little girl. But remember people, she killed a baby. I am just beyond hurt. Again, I love you very much.
