I saw you laughing somewhere at the middle of the song😂 I know why you wanted to come back to Leaves Eyes I think. I couldn't help but grin a bit too. Ok, back to the music. Not for me, as you might have expected. Cheers and have a nice weekend.
"Listen, strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony." Powerless metal?
If Mermaid's were scary they could form a Death metal band and be a huge success. Performing on stage might be difficult. Thank you for the video and opinion Hedgy.
I give this song a Nightwish/10. Want to hear something more interesting? Scardust have a new video out and it's great, and I'm pretty sure you covered them before.. I never really loved their music but this song is great in every way.
I quite liked it. Great live as it bounces along quite nicely. Nothing really leaps out, but it's pleasant enough.
Leave´s Eyes latest album was one of my favorite symphonic metal albums of 2024, and this is definitely one of the best songs of this record.

You just won my totally meaningless and non-compensated prize for UA-cam Comment of the Year.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail...if I am not mistaken.@@killermonjero

@@peterkarargiris4110 If so, I didn't recognize it. Perhaps I'll rescind Charles' award for plagiarism.
@@killermonjero Not plagiarism. For us Python junkies, it's gospel.

If I'm not wrong the lead singer Elina Siirala is a cousin or second cousin for Nightwish's Tuomas Holopainen

Hero metal.. Nightwish very much. Very predictable. Popular style. I like my music surprised and running.
