    What is that weird date shaped index at 6:00 on your GMT? 6:12

    Looking into my heart, I like the date function on my watch. 90% of the people wearing a dive watch never dive with the watch. Nice review.

      Make it 99.999%.
      Professional divers don't use dive watches any more. They use dive computers.
      However, to have a date window has nothing to do with being a dive watch. Tons of LEGIT historical dive watches (Exactus Aquamax, Citizen Promaster, Seiko 6159...) had a date window. Simply the manufacturer imagined the watch would have not been used EXCLUSIVELY for diving. And that's because it was BETTER that way. A mechanical watch that you use JUST for diving, and it's left unused the rest of the time, is a watch you can't really rely on because, the moment it will malfunction, you'll be underwater and depending on it.

    I agree about the date window. There is this dark and shiny dial, then a stark white date window that just interrupts the whole look. Still a beautiful watch, but that stops me from purchasing it.

    When I wear a watch without the date I find myself looking for the date and then realizing it's not there. Date is actually a useful complication IMO.

      I never no the date and i look for it on cell phone. Sure i agree its useful when you wear one watch 70% of thentime or have a 3-5 rotation watches. For me, but this is a personal opinion, 1) date is a complication that disturbs normal dial symetry, 2) useless as i change watches daily i never set the date so its always indicating wrong date, but is just a matter of use and personal taste at the end, glad you saw video and did not miss my date opinion😉 thx

    Why not address the elephant in the room? It is a very large watch, how does it fit on your wrist (and how big is your wrist) ?

      @WatchInTime  Рік тому

      SOrry i did no wrist shots? please check my Italian video on this watch, usually next to this. i am sure i did. ITs not big, its 42mm. for my 18.5 cm wirst it wears just fine actually , sure 40mm would be better but at the end of the day its ok

      @@WatchInTime ok thks (ua-cam.com/video/1iXEBp4MjkM/v-deo.html ). Your wrist is quite large, which explains why the watch doesn't seem so big in comparison.

    Nobody that wears a diving watch actually uses it for diving. If you actually dive, you'd buy a real diving watch with better lumen, a divers clasp, and better water resistance, so the date on the face is irrelevant. To me, the date is needed. If I'm going to use my cell phone to see the date, I can use it to see the time also. I like having a date on my "divers" watch.

    • @WatchInTime

      Yes it all a matter of taste at the end, i like clean dials and most of the time they on my opinion dont get right the position / color etc of it

      It also doesn't exist something like a "divers clasp". The few watches still used for diving by some nostalgic, and all the diving computers, are secured with straps.

    Sorry, I respect your personal perferences, but they are only that, personal preferences. "diving watches are not made to have dates" is 100% bullshit.
