    Thanks Darnell. Just forwarded to my sis in law who just bought a Ninja Foodi. :)

    I put a brisket in my Nuwave Bravo. 2 hours uncovered, then wrapped in parchment paper and foil. 2 more hours, until the probe hit 200 degrees, then I let it rest for another hour before cutting. So worth it.

      Cool, I once used the Braco to finish one:

    Great. We recommend 250F an hour a point doing brisket in the regular oven. I'm doing this recipe in our new Ninja oven. Thanks for the help.

    Great video. I dropped the ball on Mother’s Day and didn’t get the brisket in the smoker until noon. I’m going to let it smoke 3 hours then finish it in the ninja. Wish me luck.

    I’ve ruined 2 briskets in my time because I thought I knew what I was doing. I used this video and have successfully served my first ever delicious brisket. This video was perfect. Thank you

    I was wondering how a brisket would fare in an air fryer..I never really had success with briskets.. Great video

    This is a great walk-through. Thanks for making this video. We have this same oven in our RV (we live in the RV full time). We use this oven as our main oven. I can't wait to try this.

    What an enormous time commitment to cook a piece of meat. I’m keeping this in the back of my mind for a freezing cold winter day when I know I’ll stay in all day after waking up darn early to get it started. I’m also wondering why you didn’t use the temp probe that comes with the oven? I’m definitely subscribing.

    Darnell, WOW what an amazing video demonstration and the end result of the Brisket looked mouth-watering delicious... That is a lot of time and effort to put in a cook but as you see, would be worth the time. I never had anything close to your Brisket when ordered out at a restaurant. Fantastic job!

    Could you have gotten more time with and a lower temp using the dehydrate function? Would that have worked?

    Thank you my friend do I have to turn the piece of brisket every hour to cook even on each side?

    My Ninja Foodi Smart XL is coming in on Wed. But I am wondering couldn't you have used the Dehydrating function and set it to 225 and I think I saw somewhere that it can go up to 24 hrs.? Not sure if it goes up to 225 though. Just wondering?

    • @WaveOvenRecipes
      @WaveOvenRecipes  3 роки тому +1

      The fan works differently and I am not dehydrating my brisket 🙂

    I wonder if anyone else realizes that the only difference between "Air Roast" and "Air Fry" is the rack selection recommendation? Same goes for the "Pizza" and "Bake" functions. Identical except for rack level recommendations.

    Dang, i see you're still not using a cutting board to trim that meat, why? Anyways, how do like this brisket compared to one you cooked in the Emeril Lagasse power air fryer 360 XL?

    • @WaveOvenRecipes
      @WaveOvenRecipes  3 роки тому +2

      You have some odd fixation on a cutting board buddy. They're all good 🙂

    • @WaveOvenRecipes
      @WaveOvenRecipes  3 роки тому +2

      By the way, when trimming fat from meat you don't cut through the meat. So a cutting board for trimming is...like I said, you've got some odd fixation going on.

      I have a nice array of knives. I used the one best suited for cutting when I trimmed it. And I am just not the best cutter. Actually that knife I cut it with is great if the person handling it has the skills 😉

      I sometimes get impatient with cooking videos, so I tap the settings cog and set the playback speed to 1.5 or whatever speed allows me to still understand what's being said. You can also tap the right side of the video when it's playing and it will jump ahead 10 seconds. He also gave us time stamps for different stages of the process, so you can skip ahead after listening long enough to get the idea. I have ADHD, so I tend to get impatient and use these adjustments a lot, even with movies.
