Portuguese?? What do you mean? "Kadoc - The Nighttrain" is a track produced by two Spaniards (David Penn and Juan Carlos Molina). Really famous here in Spain back in the the nineties. What does it have to do with Portugal? I'm 100% sure Hector Oaks (a Spaniard) played it because it was a big deal in Spain.

DJ Chus started as a resident DJ in KADOC CLUB PORTUGAL, the Spaniard DJs use to say "thank you, Portugal, for the Techno music" because the first Spaniards in Techno/Rave scene started DJing in Portuguese clubs! in that time Spain only play flamenco and Spanish pop music, but in Portugal we already had THE ADVENT (Francisco Ferreira) A.Paul (Paulo Antonio) DJ Vibe (Antonio Pereira or To Pereira)

This is already difficult to do in normal sets, but to do them during a b2b was truly a masterclass. I don't think any of Helena's mixing, while solid, came close to those highs of hector. Just a few of a highlights for me: 39:35 58:10 1:06:05 The combination of Helena's track selection and Hector's brilliant mixing ideas creates something better than both individually. I could listen to them do a B2B all night long. Hector does play some tracks that I cringe at, but those moments where hes firing on all cylinders is the reason why I'll listen to any set he'll ever do.
This set is SUBLIME, how they mix into eachother being restricted to the few vynils they pack... I have at least 400 tunes per style on my USB lol. I see them trying out the vynils so they can't have prepared... i'm mindblown.

@@isbjrn358 in dem man vom Veranstalter wegen Unwetter und Monsun artigen Regenfällen des Festival Geländes verwiesen wird, mit der Aussage "in 2 Stunden könnt ihr wieder kommen" ... da es für mich persönlich weniger wie 30 Minuten gebraucht hat bis ich Wort wörtlich bis samt Unterhose komplett nass war (was mir in meiner 20-22 jährigen Feierei bis lang noch nie so geschehen ist!!!), kann ich mir sehr gut vorstellen das wohl nicht wenige Leute diesen Entschluss gefasst hatten und die Heimreise angetreten haben. Ich persönlich wollte definitiv da bleiben und wahr mir sicher das wir alle unsere Kleidung wieder trocken bekommen würden, da das Unwetter nur für kurzen Zeitraum prognostiziert wurde/war. Allerdings bin ich da ganz alte Schule und mit den Trupp mit dem ich hin fahre auf ne Party/nen Rave oder ein Konzert, mit diesem Trupp fährt man auch gemeinsam wieder nach Hause/Afterhour! Da im Trupp Leute wahren die nach ca 10 Jahren erstmals wieder Acid genommen haben und kurz vorm verzweifeln waren und ziemlich am frösteln obendrein (wem kann man's verübeln, da waren Frauen von jung bis alt hysterisch am weinen weil es für manch einen so schien als würde die Welt "untergehen"). Nun denn, das selbige Acid in höherer Dosis 🙄🤐🤤hatte bei mir halt den Effekt, dass ich köstlich amüsiert, Tip Top akklimatisiert und guter Dinge war in kürze weiter steppen zu können ... was leider letzten Endes hat nicht sollen sein...aber was soll's, kommen noch satt und genug Raves und Gelegenheiten um erneut mit Freunden ein fröhliches mit einander zelebrieren zu könn. Also freiwillig haben mit Sicherheit die wenigsten vorzeitig die Heimreise angetreten. 😉 Was soll's ADE steht vor der Tür und "Dave Clarke presents @ Melkweg" fährt dieses Jahr (mal wieder) ein brutal krank gutes Line Up auf mit unter anderem the legend Oscar Mulero, Alienata, Dasha Rush, Terence Fixmer live gemeinsam mit Frontmann von EBM-Legenden Nitzer Ebb, fucking British Murder Boys aka Surgeon & Regis und weiteren ... natürlich nicht zu vergessen "the Baron of Techno" himself Dave Clarke 🤯🤯🤯 Ticket's sind bereits längst bestellt 🥳🥳🥳
Didn't disappoint at all. One of the most interesting sets in a long time. Perfectly executed? No, but doesn't matter at all! The mix of very old and new, boundaries breaking stuff in this set is just mesmerizing. Got quite a few unknown or forgotten tracks out of it. Finally s set which is meant to be fun and not to show of... like a lot DJs do these days, sadly
