- Pour Talismann, DJ et producteur néerlandais, la musique est un terrain de jeu infini. Ses explorations sonores dessinent des soundscapes ténébreux aux profondeurs abyssales, sur des motifs de batterie indus.
Talismann crée des paysages sonores sur une base techno hypnotique. Le timbre est souvent brut et prend parfois une coloration onirique, dans une veine industrielle parfaite pour enflammer le dancefloor.
Originaire de La Haye, Guy Blanken grandit avec la musique électro. Alors que sa famille et ses amis constituent pour lui une source d’enrichissement musical constant, il décide de prendre sa carrière en mains et crée Makam, son premier alias. L’artiste passe alors maître dans l’art de la production musicale et trouve son propre style, si singulier. En 2012, il lance Talismann, un label et un nom sous lequel il décline une techno plus sombre, plus rude. Makam et Talismann partagent une vision contagieuse de l’electro qui a déjà conquis le public de nombreux clubs et festivals parmi les plus cotés de la planète, tels que le Berghain / Panorama Bar, BLK, Market Membership (NYC), Womb (Tokyo), Lowlands, sans parler de divers sites en Amérique du Sud.
Concert filmé le 8 juillet 2023 à l'occasion du festival Stone Techno au Zollverein, site inscrit au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO.

Talismann is no doubt one of the DJs with the best mixing skills and track selection.
The musical selection is top, the travel from the intro to the end (with the last step 1:40:00) danceable but intense, special, technically perfect, and for me the most important thing.... hand son decks! (nowadays odd to see)

This is the shit I grew up with! Records of at least 20 years old... I think I have 90% of these tracks in my vinyl collection :D
the techno scene was buzzin in the late 90s early 2000s was out and about at raves and clubs back then also, this event seems sic tho great to hear people still create this kind of techno😊
