Jarvis! It’s good to see you still making videos! I used to watch your videos all the time, about 8 years ago. You did comparisons between the j45 and d18.. I’m glad you’re still doing these videos
@@richardlucascronley5128 i have been busy the last two years the number of videos done have almost dropped but i’m trying to build and take more videos as more content should be churn out
Hi Jarvis, I acquired the fsx5 because of the sweet tone and the pick-up system. It is a great performance instrument that sounds as good on stage as most big dreadnought guitars, but easier to handle and carry. Way to go Yamaha.
I think i prefer the tone of the fxs5 more than the fs9!!! And that is a pricey guitar vs their more affordable. I'd like to see a shootout of this against higher end yamaha acoustics.
Imagine if Jarvis got a low taper faaaaade! Just kidding brother, your hair looks great like that and I love your videos man. So contagious and good! This is how I fight my battles 🎶 This is how I FIGHT MY BATTLES! 🎵! I played one of these at a local shop and it truly is a phenomenal guitar in every way. It was turning heads in the shop as I played it!🎶 (and I think it is more the guitar than the player 😜)
@@daniel9842 well LS26 will have a clear trebles and brighter tone with a balance bass … this FS5 is scalloped so more airy bass and less clear on the trebles
@TheGuitarSpaSingapore Thanks for replying. I've wanted to buy the ls26 for years now, but unfortunately, it's not available in my country. I was wondering if the ls5 is a good substitute? It costs more than $2000, though
You have a fantastic head of hair my friend. I haven’t been so lucky as I collect years 😊. Anyway, you can’t ever go wrong with a Yamaha and I love my old ones. However, these remade red labels have all sounded so good!! I’ve only tested one and it felt great! Felt better than the sticky finish on my beloved guitars.

Brilliant stuff again from the Guitar Spa. Love the life philosophy and your song 🎸 great stuff 👍👍
Absolutely amazing sounding with remarkable playability. One of the most impressive guitars I have owned/played in my 45 years of guitar-ing!
I love my FS5 and my FG5. That vintage boomy growl sound is so awesome.
I think this vid just convinced me to grab one of these from ver a LL16D, Sounds nice and warm and easy yo listen to
Thank you 🙏

Good to see you again, brother.
My Yamaha FG830 and LL6M A.R.E. are so nice, even with laminate back and sides. How Yamaha makes their laminates is quite good.
Awesome review and demo Man. That long sleeve looks good on you too 🙂

Thanks for video! Awesome guitar and amazing value. Its maybe possible that I need made in japan red label.
I have an LS6 that has a similar shape. This one is quite nice. The Yamaha engineering is amazing, and so precise.

I just heard a AC1m for about 500.00 that kicked the ass of the higher level versions. Sounds similiar to the FXS5
