- InABLE.org is a nonprofit in Kenya that focuses on bringing digital accessibility training and technology to schools for children with vision impairments. To advance this mission, Google provided funding for 480 Chromebooks to be used by students and teachers in school classrooms and a village library in 2023. Thank you for your comments. You are correct that this video does not discuss all of the many real challenges for students with visual impairments in Africa, but I do hope that it makes the point that digital accessibility can be the beginning of a game changer for these communities.
I think this is great but also a missed opportunity. From what I can see the keyboards on the Chromebooks were not brail. Why? Why not partner with Acer to make that?
