I'm assuming you use a suite number in conjunction to your home address to differentiate business mail from personal? Any problems with the USPS delivering to a home address with a suite number attached when there hadn't been one prior?
When I tried to create a duns number it keeps sayin “ Your request for a Dun & Bradstreet D-U-N-S® Number for your business could not be completed at this time.” What is that supposed to mean or what am I doing wrong????
Just got my registration or deeds for my business so no one in my county can use my business name I was told they were supposed to appoint me to a duns and Bradstreet number but I didn’t get appointed one what would be my next step so no one on the world can use my brand name ?

Just tried to get duns number and IT IS NOT FREE $899.00 for basic package and $149.00 for activation fee I’m just starting out trying to sell my holsters and knife sheaths and wow is it brick wall after brick wall for everything for someone with no capital.
@@BusinessCreditWorkshop that is not what they told me.I filed for one three weeks ago.then nothing got a call from a lady named Amy.played phone tag with her for three weeks telling me she needed to get over stuff on my account .finally got ahold of her to see what was going on.only to find out it was all a sales scandal to lure me in on marketing and other bullshit.I told her I didn’t have the money and I’m small business that’s why I’m trying to get credit built up.and she didn’t care to help me unless I had $1000.00 she said I can get a duns number until I pay her.then she emailed me and was like I can waive the $149.00 activation fee if you pay this week..what a scamm
@@darriushutchison5628 yes, over the past 13 years in business, i have heard a lot of stories like this. But just know that it is your choice whether or not you want to pay them. You can use a free duns number like many others and build up business credit and get funding.

i'd check with an attorney on that one and double check status with dnb.

You could if it is a legit address, you get mail there and use it for business. Otherwise it might just be a mailing address

My LLC isn't showing up on duns and bradstreet list why?
you probably have to manually add it to their database by creating a duns number.
How do you get a Duns number when there are two members in the LLC? Whose name goes into the Duns application?
Isn't there a spot for both members?

DNB offers those packages but they are optional. You can get the free duns number and build business credit and get funding as outlined.
