Hi everyone🤍 thank you for coming along with me as I try on a few new pieces at the SÉZANE store in New York. Let me know if you have any questions or thoughts down below. 🤍
Hello Agnes, how wonderful that you were able to visit the Sézane store in NY. And it was great to see all the items you tried on and your views on them. Like you, I have sensitive skin and some knit items are not comfortable for me. I have sold all my Gaspard and Emile cardigans for this reason. The merino wool knits are very comfortable and my favourites. The Betty cardigan in the green looks incredible on you.
Yes, that is definitely a good point! Hopefully as technology moves forward, brands will be able to use more natural fibers to create the same effect. Thank you so much for watching and sharing your thoughts.🤎
If I do a lot of shopping on a trip, I go to FedEx on my last day, box up the extra things and have them send it to my home. Then, when I arrive home the next day, the box of goodies is waiting for me there. This way, the contents can also be fully insured, unlike airline luggage. I also have less baggage to deal with at the airport, and it’s less expensive than the charges for an extra bag on the plane. UPS and DHL are also good for this service, and possibly US Mail rush services, I usually choose whichever carrier has the most convenient location and parking, if applicable. To reduce the cost, a two-day delivery can be chosen at, I think, all these major carriers.
I have sensitive skin, too, so I stick to Merino and Cashmere. Even with these less-irritating fibers, I always wear a long-sleeved silk shirt or silk tee/turtleneck underneath, and often a silk neck-scarf. These soft, smooth underlayers help a lot and keep my sweaters a lot cleaner. I can’t hand-wash sweaters because of a disability and it’s so much easier to throw my silk undershirts in the machine’s delicate cycle and hang dry. L.L. Bean and Land’s End always have silk undershirts for winter and Amazon does, too (some blended with rayon, which is fine for me).
Agnes, I have very sensitive skin and cannot wear the Emile or Gaspard cardigans. I too love the Betty cardigan and can recommend the Louis cardigan which is lovely and comes in the Burgundy colour and black this season.
That's good to know! I will take a look next time I'm at the Sezane store in LA. I'm glad it's working out for you and your sensitive skin. Thank you for letting me know.
When I visit my daughter in NYC, we usually make a trip to SoHo and stop in the Sezane boutique. I also can't wear a lot of their sweaters because of the wool and alpaca content, but I can wear a merino wool or cashmere sweater. I would swim in their trousers because I am only 5 feet tall. I prefer natural fibers in my clothing, but sometimes the cotton/wool/ and or poly blends are very flattering. I did purchase a few pair last year.
Hi Jasmine, thank you so much! The jeans I'm wearing are from AYR. They are very comfy and one of my favorites. I'm wearing my regular size. Here is the link for your 👀 bit.ly/3MNtf6W Thank you for watching.
Hi Agnes 🎉 We have a similar high. I also like Betty cardigan, but don't have a possibility at the moment to try it. Doesn't it go too short for medium rise pants or jeans? Doesn't it show a bally?)
I typically wear my Betty cardigan with high-rise pants. The cardigan hits me slightly below my belly button. My feeling is you can wear it with medium rise trousers but nothing lower than that if you don’t want your belly to show. It also depends on how long your torso is. I hope that is helpful. Thank you so much for watching. 🤍
Hello. In the video you said you tried the Martin cropped pants in size 36(4) but in the description you stated you tried size 34(2). Which one was it?
My apologies for the confusion! I tried on size 36/4 at the store , not 34/2. I just fixed the error in the description as well. Thank you for letting me know! 🤍
@@HelloAgnes would you say they run small? because my usual size is 2 (Aritzia pants) and size 24 in jeans(Citizens of Humanity). Did you have to size up with those?
@@nedamoosaviani I would say they run true to size. I’m usually a size 36 in Sezane trousers and the fit was perfect. I’m also a size 4 in Aritzia, and 26/27 in jeans. I hope that’s helpful. 🤍

Thank you Cristina. 🤍 I’m putting the Berry cardigan to work already. Such a lovely piece just in time for autumn. Thank you for watching💚
Nice review. I believe they put polyester to have a more smoother finish when there is wool. They hold their shape better also.

That's a great idea. I always assumed it would be much more costly. I'll keep that in mind for next time. Thanks for sharing.
You look lovely in everything, I love the Betty in the gorgeous green I'm off to have a look!
Thank you so much! I have been wearing it on repeat already. 💚
Holding on to the coffee mug like 💪😄

The Martin crop trousers are so stunning! I bought them right away
Good move! I can see them in my future too;-) Thank you for watching.
Great haul and try on! Love Sezane. Do you mind sharing where your black and white top is from? Thank you!
Happy to share. The top is navy and white and it's by Lilysilk, lilysilk.to/alGLWDI

Beautiful pieces! Same as you, I am very sensitive to wool and some cashmere. I understand your disappointment.
It can sometimes be a bummer, but no biggy in the big picture:). Thank you for watching.

nice of you to show all this in the video! such a shame that the khaki Marino trousers aren't available in Europe...
Oh no! That’s a bummer! They are quite flattering. Hopefully they will make their way to Europe at some point soon. Thank you for watching 🤍

Yes! I noticed that all the poly blends were flattering, which made things very tempting. Thank you for watching!
Hi Agnes, the pieces you tried looked lovely on you ❤. May I know where your jeans are from as they go well with the sezane tops .

I can only wear Sezanne's merino knits. Everything else is way to itchy which is a shame.
Yup, unfortunately, I'm in the same boat as you. Thank you for watching.
What's with that empty coffee cup....
