Erika Robuck joins me to talk about "The Last Twelve Miles" on this edition of "Some Books Considered." This historical novel is based on two real-life women on opposite sides of the law during the 1926 Rum War. One is a government agent and the other a rum runner. Each in their own way are outstanding women who accomplished much in the male-dominated 1920s.
