- Just a walk around of this jeep I have been working on the last 4 months. Still a lot more to come. Will have hydro assist and skid plates on it soon. Will get dana 60's once I break what it has. Right now its a 78 ford dana 44 up front with chromoly axles and a spool locker. Rear is the stock d44a with limited slip. 231J transfer case with advance adapters sye. Tom woods rear driveshaft.

Thats nice. Owned many a jeeps in my day . Never a grand cherokee. Current jeep is a 96XJ and nearly that nice. Great looking WJ
I can’t stop watching this video maybe about 15 times already lol.
DAMN NICE MAN ...clean simple and smoothe
Que chulada de cheroke❤️🔥
Awesome I have a 97 two wheel drive been slowly working on it for 4 years I’m disabled and only get very little monthly that’s why the four yrs, I want to make mine a 4x4 but I don’t think I will b able to, imagine to wait another four yrs 😞 but yours looks great, great job
You could but it would probably be more cost effective to buy a 4wd to start with
@@TroyLee- yes ur right only problem was that I had a chance to get this one at 700.00 from my aunt, my uncles jeep he passed away. Since I only get 500 a month check this was a great price for me in the four years I have put a budget lift three inches and all the front suspension u know upper and lower control arms stabilizer shock, tie rods track bar ect. Water pump transmission lines ect. Kind of like who will sell me thier Jeep in payments that will take long for me to pay this was more cost efficient for me it’s street ready and got the plates for it. But yes it can be done but not as quick as I would like.
@@TroyLee- ty for your comment it means a lot, and btw love your Jeep you did a great job
I didn’t care for the small intake hat on the stock or K&N intake. I’m really happy with the THOR cowl induction intake. There’s also a stupidly overpriced tri-Y headers and Y pipe on eBay. Quality looks great, I’m going to run a 3” pipe and no cats. Love the look of your build.
Nice! No cats on mine. Just a straight through cherry bomb exhaust. Muffler is getting switched to a flowmaster soon
@@TroyLee-tu sais le mieux turbo pour elle ?
Great looking 5.9!! Very clean! Is your steering setup somewhat custom? How is it working for you?
Yeah it's all custom. Steering works great. The angle and length of the drag link and track bar are almost the same. So no bump steer and it cycles good
Hello Friend. It's a very cool car.. I also have a 1994 release, with a 4.0 engine.. but yours is incomparable.. good luck..
If it's not a secret, how much did everything cost?
It's hard to say exactly the total amount. I did all the work myself to keep the price down
please do a video how you can install the liftkit
It's a custom lift. Will have videos in the future when I replace the axles with 60s
More info on the this build please, lift, bumpers etc. Thank you
It's a 78 bronco front dana44 axle and bronco modified suspension. Rear is home built custom triangulated 4 link. Lift height is unknown but I guess it would be at least 6"-8". Front bumper is ARB that I chopped up a bit. Rear bumper is unknown and also modified a bunch. Sliders are custom boxed into body. Steering is also custom made at home. Besides the bumpers and cross member the rest was built from scratch in the garage
Lovely car. Been driving G/Cs for near 20 years.loved my ZG firstbut now WJs. No interest in newer models. Only the crap brakes stopped me driving ZGs. I'm sure you've fixed that right ?
Xfap?
@@TroyLee- crap...I keep forgetting to read before I post
Oh gotcha. I don't have any issues with my brakes. I have a 78 bronco front axle and brakes so that could be why
@@TroyLee- Yeah I think the brakes are adequate unless you are towing heavy loads.
Nice 5.9! I have the same with about 6 inch of lift and 34s. I see youre front springs arent straight also. I have the same problem with mine. Especially at the right side my spring is curved alot. Any idea how to fix that? I tryed to adjust my control arms to get it straight but still its not like i want to.
Each setup is different and what causes it. My front end is using a 78 bronco front axle and suspension including bronco spring plates. But since that video I have corrected the perch angle and straightened the coil spring a lot. Also the top is slightly angled as well causing the spring to bow
Every situation is different. Mine are bent because I run a 78 bronco front axle and coil perch so it's wider than original mounts on the axle
What is the tire size in this video? Badass looking jeep!
It's 37x12.50r17
Where did you get this front bumper
Front bumper is arb that's had the top section cut off to make it look cleaner
5,9
Yes
What’s the name of the front and back bumpers?
Front is ARB that I modified by chopping off the top bull bar and chopped the sides way down. The rear is unknown. I have looked to find out and have not found one like it. It's the best shaped bumper I have seen on a zj. Hopefully you have better luck finding it. It had a tire carrier on it too
@@TroyLee- Ok thank you for the reply back I have a 1997 Jeep grand Cherokee myself and I’ve been looking for a new front and back bumper to make it stand out more and updated as well but I’ll keep my eyes out. Thank you :)
And what parts you use
It's all custom built in the garage aside from the springs
