Just as I pressed play for this my mom walked up talking about dangerous health problems going on , I didn't think about this or anything, just got up grabbed oil and declared healing. Just a few minutes ago but without leaving room to "think" God had room for his presence.

If there is a limit, it is the will of God. He is sovereign and sometimes we have no idea why people suffer and die and most die without anyone even able to pray healing for them. We see through a glass darkly . . .
I have a question regarding Isaiah 53:5 "By His stripes, we are healed". Does the "heal" here really mean physical healing? This verse was cited in 1Peter 2:24 "...by whose stripes, ye were healed" with a past tense. But if you read the first half of 1 Peter 2:24 and 1 Peter 2:25, it is very clear to me that the "heal" in the context here means our sin got bore instead of a physicial healing. Anyone can comment on this? Thanks.

Now your just being silly...If it were your mother in pain and sickness wouldnt you be wanting God to heal her so that she can be healed of the sickness and pain and then she can die peacefully of old age without pain.
Steve, you've got a point. Unfortunately only a small percentage get to die peacefully, without suffering. But sometimes God brings out the diamonds out of great pressure and temperature. Pain and suffering is not from God, but he uses it to bring people closer to Him. I'd have to agree with you that God wills and makes provision for everyone to have healthy lives. But He sometimes uses these infirmities for our spiritual growth. even the illnesses the devil uses to make people doubt God.
What if God has revealed that we are all already healed and He has been waiting to sse if we honor/kleus His Own Son's blood and word more than our physical or any level of sensory mechanisms or pain or symptoms??? He did die and especially is raised to love to life again with us bc we are with Him so that we could have visitation and experience relentless results and demarcation and anointing and grace and mercy Charis and freedom and His personality Shalom peace and every spiritual blessing ephesians 1:3 but until we see it all we believe and maybe we do already see it all already
If you read, brothers and sisters, the Word in 1 Peter which refers back to Isaiah 53:5 both contexts clearly show that the healing we receive at the hands of our Master is spiritual healing. It is talking about sin. Can and does our gracious Lord heal? Yes! But that verse is talking about healing us from our sin. Jesus did not leave the glory of Heaven to heal sickness. That He can do from above. The stripes He received and the blood He shed was and only could be paid on the cross. Sadly, Mr. Mohler should know this.
Randy, can you imagine a future, maybe several generations from now where someone sees a mural of Noah's Ark with a rainbow over it and yells, "hey, remove that symbol of homosexuality from your church!" A wreath is just a wreath, and it's meaning comes from what we believe about it. Nobody in that church put that up there thinking they were honoring pagan fertility rites. It's just a winter tree branch bent into a circle. In the same way, a rainbow only means what it does today because other people say so. Don't let those unbelievers take what God has made and define it for you (whether it's a wreath or a rainbow). This is God's creation, and as His people, WE name things, just as He instructed Adam. We give good names to things that were once profane and reclaim them for His honor.
