I wonder how Haoko would react if the enclosure was next to a chimpanzee enclosure like Shabani and Ryu. Shabani seems to ignore Ryu's chimp family despite their threatening gestures. But Shabani is kinda chill. Haoko however, I think would react more forcefully back.
If that was the rest of his troop on the monitor Haoko was watching , he was probably frustrated that he could see them but couldn't be with them, as protection is one of his main responsibilities as Leader of the Troop - was there a reason he was out on his own that day? - interesting how some Gorillas enjoy watching other Gorillas on I-Phones visitors show them, but maybe seeing his own Troop on the video monitor freaked Haoko out a little.

@Ana Arteaga Hi Ana, hope someone can really tells us what's the reason behind it...he does this again right ? This wasn't the 1st time he got angry looking at the visitors area for unknown reason
Haoko was angry because he knows that his family's private area(Haoko' family's private area...means bed area or relaxing area in day and night time) is reflected in surface of exhibition space by monitor. Not relating to skeleton of another
@Ana Arteaga That seems highly unlikely... I doubt gorillas put on territorial displays of aggression whenever they stumble upon an inanimate skull. Death and mortality are far beyond their comprehension, as observed when they groom the corpses of their relatives as if they were still living, or when mothers continue to carry their child's dead body and attempt to nurse it. A skeleton to them is probably nothing but a slightly unusual scramble of pointless objects. I think more likely he's just confused by the reflection of moving gorillas that he can't tell are his own troop members. Probably nothing so poetically existential.
@Ana Arteaga Yeah, that's the bottom line really. Personally I don't think it's terribly harmful and he would probably grow accustomed to it, but it's such a silly design flaw that would be so easy to fix. I can't get over him packing up his hay bed and moving out, though 😂
My guess is he does see the monitor with his family in it in a small box on the other side of the glass. His family is not around him right now, so they must be in that small box that he can’t get to. This infuriates him.

He has a big harem, and though in Gorilla world the girls choose, he force them all the time, they try to give each other shelter from him, but he chases and do them. Even if they have a baby on the back. And he puts the finger into the baby girls. He is dirt.

The skulls have never bothered him. He acts like this when he can see the reflection of the monitor on the glass window showing their indoor space.
