First Impressions - Airfix 1/72 Messerschmitt Me 410

Airfix certainly snuck this one in under the radar! Keeping not only the release date, but the entire developement a secret right up until the last minute, Airfix has produced a rather good kit of this sleek, twin-engined aircraft.
Designed to replace the obsolescent Bf 110 in the "zestorer" or heavy fighter role, the Me 210 and later 410, would suffer much the same as its predecessor at the hands of Allied single-engine fighters. Perhaps best remembered for being equipped with a BIG gun to shoot down US bombers, the fewer than 1200 Me 410s produced were like many other German wonder-waffles; too little, too late.

Screws like holes in the wall to hang a smartTV...few and thick details....low price....Ah no, that is no longer possible with Brexit...Well, all that remains is huge holes, lines of panel like trenches and few thick details.
What more can I say ? If I had said only AIRFIX I would have said it all.
