This reminds me of the BMW S1000RR. It was such a perfect bike to a point people said it felt sterile and got bored with it. But, like the kraken, it’s a great training tool. Having something that is super reliable allows someone to differentiate between skill issue or equipment issue.

would you recommend to buying the Marcolo Comet or is there a better trainer for that price range?
I own the kraken v3 and insert and i think it is the zippy inserts making it feel weird if u just take out them it makes a big difference

As someone who is really excited to get one of the live blades eventually... I kinda agree. I don't have a ton of balis but my bbfirefly is just more fun to me than the Kraken, even though I recognize that the Kraken is better
I have heard a lot of the hate regarding the V2.5 trainer. I have the V2.5 and honesty I love it. I have not had the chance to try out a live blade Kraken, but I'm ok with it being a little different. Nice video as always!

1:39 I do find this funny because of just how different pyro's takes are on the kraken trainer and urs with him saying it sucks because it has no tip weight and you saying it had a lot of tip weight
Watched the whole thing including the complaints section. I totally get what you're saying, but some of us take the fun from just doing tricks that are more difficultt 😂 so the kraken would be perfect for me for at least half a decade
I’ve always wanted to try a kraken and I’ve gotten a lot of mixed feelings about it but that being said one day I will try one
I think its definitely an improvement to have the v3 Kraken trainer to be balanced more like the live blade considering its role and name. BTW what did you mean by the other Kraken blade being a Japanese tanto? I would say the Tsunami is a Japanese tanto blade (also see the Ryworx Konohishi) but the Kraken is definitely a Bowie because of the clip point on the back

It's all an option in the end but I'm not sure judging the flipability of something based on it with mods most people won't do isn't fair.
The part about the kraken being so good it's boring is on point though. I love my tanto kraken, but it's not my favorite flipper. I like a more unique balance😊
i said in the beginning, it doesnt change much with and without the little zippy inserts. my opinion is the exact same

You explained it in perfectly understandable and reasonable terms, I don't see a contradiction. There's a difference between conventionally good and fun
@@camaroEE I totally agree that there is a difference between good and fun, and I respect your opinions and preferences. but, I also think that a Balisong being conventionally perfect can be very fun. And I feel as though everyone has a perfect point on the spectrum of fun and conventional. But if I had to guess, for most flippers and especially to the beginner-intermediate, a conventionally good Balisong would actually be more fun than a more niche flipping experience, Which is why I think squid has decided to make the Krake raken live up to its “white bread reputation.” After all they have quite a few offerings that are extremely unique and the krake raken has remained their most popular knife and the trainer is hopefully now going to be up there with it (I haven’t tried the v3 yet)

prysma v2 or this?
Prysma is blockier and ringier kraken has a very solid sound and isn’t as bouncy but is more round and might feel better for certain tricks, both are slightly handle bias so it’s really up to you based off looks
