One of the best healing process video I have ever seen. Your nose looks very natural. Very nice result👍. I'm 8 months post op too and like you say , I could see better results after 3 or 4 months . It depends of your skin and more things
I'm 6 days post op and had no bruising. Only swelling around my eyes for 2 days and then swelling on my cheeks. Nostrils and tip are super swollen too, bit uneven
It’s more scary than painful, keep your mouth wide open when you feel it coming on was my drs instructions (I sneezed a lot the first 10 ish days post op)
Hello lovely, thank you for pointing that out! Definitely should have included that in this video So to fix it that’ll be in my next video, an in depth before and after Physical but all the other things that are different for me as well, breathing, my mental health and the psychological kinda effects like outlook on my looks etc
Great video - thanks! I’m 3.5 weeks post op and noticing that the swelling does vary! Did u literally tape 24/7 or give yourself a couple of hours without for the skin to breathe etc. and have a short break without tape? 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Congratulations! Hard part is over now So at around 4 weeks post op I started changing my tape every 2/3 days, and gave myself about an hour to shower and do skin care then let the skin breathe before I taped it up again. The longer it "breathes" the more swelling kicks in, I was lucky my skin only stated to get irritated a week before I could stop entirely 🩷🩷
@@herinsight_99 thanks so much! I really appreciate it! 🤗 Yes I have noticed that once the tape is off I start to feel my nostrils and nasal cavity feeling tight and that’s because the swelling ramps up - once I retape it you almost immediately start to feel your breathing become easier as it suppresses the swelling! Thanks again 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hey, my nostrils sit way too high on my face now. I am 7 days into my post op journey. I still have the splint on. Do you think the nostrils will come back to their normal state?
So they probably won't ever look the same again, however face on my nostrils were also quite visible and "piggy" but once the swelling calmed down my nostrils were normal 🤍
Are the bumps you mentioned hard? I got a bump after my rhino, and it is kinda hard. The doctor said it was swelling and that I had to massage it. But I am a little scared since it is a hard bump (I’m 15 days po)
Yes they were, I massaged mine out as well, only a bit as they are essentially like scabs on a wound, but on bone so that is why they are hard. The goal is to flatten them out not rip the scab off 🤍

@@JOS-cz8zj thank you so much! Definitely all an individual process but nice to have some insight into the healing speed and timeline of others xx
Good to know about the bump, sometimes I get a bump on the bridge but I'm only 6 weeks or so post-op.
Defo needed to see this!! noone talks about the post rhino swelling xx

Does it hurt to sneeze after a nose job?

Which doctor dude your surgery? And where?
Anyone else got so swollen that they couldn't even see for 2 days? 😂 that was my experience. Dealing with day 5 now and can finally see.
How did u control your swelling
Can you please put some pictures of how your nose looked like before the surgery and how it looks now? Thank you.
