I howled out loud at your feigned explanation of what a "trigger" is for your European viewers.😅🤣😂

Interesting view at a fast-faced high-level high-rolling chouette. Thanks, Justin - never seen like this before. Very different from stately pace of some tourneys.
A few more suggestions for better viewing:
With this pace, it is important for the analysis and dice to be well synched-up with the action - sometimes it lags. Esp. current dice when they are hard to view.
Speaking of glare on dice, lights _behind_ the camera cures that.
Please show XG's '6 probabilities' too.

One day, Schwartz went to visit Mochy. He later bragged about it to the German national team. Schieman became envious and curious, and asked Schwartz what impressions he had after visiting Mochy. "You know, Schieman, it turns out that Mr. Mochy is a big fan of yours," answered Schwartz. "Why do you think so?" asked Schieman. "Because in his house there are books about backgammon on the shelves, and I found the book you wrote when I visited his toilet," answered Schwartz. "Do you think that he took it there because he couldn't tear himself away from reading it?" asked Schiemann. "Absolutely, Schieman!" answered Schwartz. "Your book interested him so much that some pages were torn out - apparently, Mr. Mochy ran with themfrom the toilet to the computer and analyzed them."😄

Rule question for you Justin: Can the player in the box make different re-double decisions vs different opponents? That is to say, with Mochy in the box can send the cube back at Abe (who you say is a taker) but choose to play on too good vs Nevzat. Is that allowed?

In general no. The only time the cube action can be different is if the cubes are on different values or if some cubes are still in the center. You may want to offer an initial double to the field but not a redouble to someone who might have cubed you earlier.

The according rule we use is quite simple, it's called "Same, Same, Same"
i.e. When the double cubes are turned at the same time with same value, they are treated the same way.
For further explanation see these examples:
      a) a Box' initial double (Box doubles Team) is always to double every and each of team members. (Note: later in the game the box could redouble individually if - and only then - the cube values are different)
      b) If on the other hand the team (or at least 2 members) double the box to the same value (which is always the case when it's an initial double; but also possible later in the game), the box must treat those cubes equally, i.e. take or drop all of them = "Same, Same, Same".
However c) If, say the captain redoubles the box to 8, a team member doubles to 2, another team member to 4 - the Box can handle all these cubes differently.
And finally note that d) If only the captain or one single team member doubles the box initially, the continued game will most likely bear more individual handling of the cube by the box.
This rule ensures two things: 1st) Box can't pass on selected players (if cubes are turned at the same time to same value) in the intention to obtain advantage by omitting better players. And 2nd) Box is not obliged to take (often late) doubles with different value, therefore is less likely be forced to pass.

You did not explain scoring, nor how the teams shift after a game, and, especially (the part I still don't understand): the complications which independent cubes have on that, when there may be wins _and_ losses on both sides.

This video is not a tutorial, just an introduction with a few world champions playing.

nice to have a chouette commentary. But justin, you ought to know how to set a decent audio level by now.... Barely audible.
