Thanks so much! I almost lost it a couple times until I found your video.
The production quality is damn good for someone who only has a few hundred subscribers. Narration is good as well.
Much appreciated 🙏
Great video... I followed it exactly and got my Kart going again. Thanks!
Awesome! Thanks! That's great to hear 👍👍
I found this in preparation of buying one of these karts, because I already know it’s coming. Great video,
Thanks! Hopefully it helps 👍 still a great kart for my daughter just requires a little handiness
Good job filming editing and the jokes were good too. Cool channel you got here. Keep it up. You'll get more followers.
Thanks I appreciate it!
hey, i know this is an older video. but do you know what kind of battery i can replace the stock one with?
Mine has lasted 2 years with no issues. Ive seen people with lemons, I must have gotten a diamond in the rough 😊. Im looking to upgrade the motors because my son is out frowning the kart.
Don’t do anything to it! Sell it to museum and use the money to get him a gas powered kart
Just came back to say I enjoyed the video way more than most. Watched it once and ripped it a month later without watching again. Questions for everyone cam I put EC-4pole Program motors on there or will the gear box shread.
Thanks! Glad you liked it. I recently posted another video about the motors on that kart you might get a kick out of. As far as the EC-4 pole motors I have no clue what you’re talking about lol I’m pretty novice level when it comes to this stuff
Tanks for share , it helps to fix mine
Glad to help 👍
I'm here because I had the same issue, but I will say Radio Flyer has been easy to work with. They are sending me a new motor. Bummer since we have only had the cart 2 weeks but they have been easy to work with so far.
Thanks for stopping by. Probably the best place to start calling them I just didn’t have the patience for it. Hope it works out for you 👍 and hopefully they send the whole gear assembly and not just the motor
@@themontemoto So I got the motor and yes it was the whole gear assembly and took 10 minutes to switch out. Just had to remove the wheel and axcel, remove one cover plate, unplug/ replace, and put it back together. I do think it's worth dealing with them and they didn't ask me any questions about how my kids drove it. I just emailed them a video of motor smoking and they asked for some numbers on the cart and that was it. I'm saving your video though because I have a feeling this is going to keep happening and eventually it wont be under warranty. Thanks for helping a fellow dad : )
i feel like this video should have 100K+ views that the vibe i get
I appreciate that 😏👊
@@themontemoto haha nice vid btw
awesome videos u make man. im bout to buy another one 🤔
Thanks! Another kart or another motor?
How long did the new motor last? Performance on par with the original?
About the same amount, then the other motor died. 🙃
Just got one for my son. I'll put this in my back pocket. Thanks for the video.
Have you found a good upgrade to the back wheels. It doesn't have much traction and wears out really fast.
My daughter's wheels are still in good shape. I have thought if they wear out I might go to Harbor Freight. They have rubber wheels there, some less than $10, and I thought about maybe cutting the rubber off the tires and stretching it onto the existing wheels... When I say "thought about" I mean for like 3 minutes so it may be an awful idea
Also I have another video where I take the fuses out and so far that's done the trick
It's been six months since you posted this question, if you didn't yet add rubber wheels, be aware that they may cause the gears to be destroyed as the cart has no clutch system. As one takes the foot of the pedal, the wheels lock almost immediately. The slippery function acts as a clutch. My guess..
@@fiqueporaquiwhat do you recommend I just bought my son this cart less than a month ago and already broke both right and left gears and it’s a stock kart the right side broke within five minutes of my son riding it
Anyone know if we can upgrade the tires to full rubber? I have the 945 kart for 2 , and I hate the plastic wheels…. Would off-road rubber wheels cause too much stress
I heard a roll of gorilla tape per tire works well but i believe they sell rubber tread for kids ride on's that you wrap around the tire, possibly hot glue but im not 100% sure. Please let me kno how it goes because i just got a non runner for my son so the troubleshooting begins
I don't want to jinx but thank God I have not gone through the motor change yet... but 4 sets of tires... my son really like drifting this things and the back tires literally lasts just 2 to 3 months tops...
Thats awesome! I'm starting to think that its the way my daughter drives the thing she starts and stops constantly
This cart is amazing at drifting!! The kids have so much fun!!
Hey bro where can I get the spare rear tire from?
My sons only runs on reverse but does not move forward what could it be? Please help
There might be a short in the shifter wiring. I’d call radio flyer customer service
Did u get the flashing light when it dies?
Yeah but I didn't look up the code I just ended up pulling the circuit breakers out. I have another video about that
So what if I don’t have most of these took to do this
I’d suggest trying radio flyer customer service first
@@themontemoto so now I am stuck at the part where i have to get that gesr off the one you put oil on
Just bought this thing for 14 bucks at a thrift store. Lets do this!
Incredible deal 👊
14$ Score! Just paid 50 bucks not working, batteries seller said but we shall see 😂
It won’t go forward only backwards
After you changed the motors?
So I just got the new motor today now I need help putting it on a more simple way then how you did it
Hey we had the same problem, me and my friend were driving the radio flyer go kart when the motor almost combusted, it shot out smoke and got extremely hot, could we sue radio flyer for that, and is it an common issue?
If you and your friend were both riding it at the same time you probably don't have a case against radio flyer
@@themontemoto I meant we were taking turns, sorry about that. We were driving it on asphalt, although I did drive it on grass. Oh, and I forgot to mention it did give me the warning code where the on and off button would flash, the go kart kept stalling out and showing the rapid flash error code whenever I smelt burning motor, until yesterday me and my friends were taking turns, and the go kart slowed down and put out a big cloud of smoke, my friend said he saw it down the road.
