As adults, Christmas isn’t so much about believing in Santa. Christmas is about believing that there is one magical day when everyone can celebrate love, kindness, and warmth. It’s easy to let the hardships of life make you bitter and cynical. Causing us to forget that indescribable joy that only Christmas brought to you as a child.
This has become far and away my favorite Christmas song. Nobody has a better voice than Josh Groban. Thank you for such an amazing and inspirational song.
''We were dreamers, not so long ago. But one by one we, all had to grow up''. No matter how many times I listen to this line, it always makes me cry, despite I'm a grown up 29 years old man
Same here, after so long of losing all my childhood friends after I moved away 5 years ago and so on, I always left them in my heart because they mean so much to me. All I have left are memories of them and this song reignites the flame I have for them to make me push harder to be a police officer. All I have left is God and Jesus in my life and those memories, and I just want to cry every time I hear this song.

Another Christmas has arrived. I remember it as if it were yesterday, I was 4 years old, and I had received a DVD from my Aunt. At first, I didn't care about the DVD, and I put it in a corner. I grew up a little, and then I decided to watch that movie. And I watched. From the first moment I saw it, I fell in love with the film. I fell in love with the story, with the train, because when I was little I loved trains. But there was one thing I loved, the soundtrack for this film. It was simply MAGIC to hear these beautiful melodies and let your imagination go. And this film was called, THE POLAR EXPRESS! Since then, every Christmas, I come here and listen to this wonderful Christmas music. Merry Christmas to all of you and your families. May God give much peace and unity to all of you. Merry Christmas 2023 👼🎄🎅🎁✨!!!!
I had a very rough year between separating from my wife, moving, losing my grandfather and the stress of trying to find a new job but it all turned around today with one phone call and now hearing this song made it even more special !
My grandmother loved The Polar Express so much, and she loved this song just as much. I remember being very little and watching it with her at her house at Christmas time. As a young autistic kid obsessed with trains, it felt so enthralling to watch. It was like you were on this magical journey with the characters. Grandma’s been suffering from dementia now, and things aren’t quite the same anymore, but this song and this movie still take me back to that wonderful time... God I miss you grandma. Dementia sucks. She lives in your memories/Christmas traditions, people she influenced, and there is without a doubt you will see you again too. Merry Christmas FrankieB1996 :)
Love this movie and this song. Came out right after my first year of college. Never fails to choke me up, esp. now pushing 40 with young children. Got to keep that special Christmas spirit burning for them at least.
It was 2004 when this came out. My children were young and the magic was strong. Fast forward to 2022. I listen to this anew with older ears and a mind filled with......other things. There seems to be nothing that I can do to stop the relentless march of time. Each day that passes, I become less and less. I watch the strangers that take my daughter's hands become the priority and the cycle begins again. Best slow down and enjoy it when you can. Nothing lasts forever. I was at that age where I still believed in Santa. It's a shame as adults we know. I want to believe. I grew up and had to face the real world. Times were simpler back then. I haven't heard this song in years. I just watched Polar Express for the first time in years for the nostalgia, I will admit that as a 28 year old male, There were parts of the movie that made me cry. Listening to this song just made me start balling my eyes out. 2 years ago went through a devastating heartbreak, I don't think I still fully recovered but i've moved on. I still deal with depression and anxiety on a daily basis. I've had times where I was in a dark place and well...I don't think I need to say more about that. But I will say that Music has kept me alive. I just want to believe that things will get better.

2016. My senior year. This song was part of a Polar Express medley I played in band class. It took all 4 years for us to even get through the entire medley (our teacher would always end up collecting it after a few weeks the previous 3 years), but when the day finally came to finally perform, it was quite the moment.

Dreams are calling like bells in the distance
We were dreamers not so long ago

When it seems the magic's slipped away
We find it all again on Christmas day
Believe in what your heart is saying

There's so much to celebrate
Believe in what you feel inside
And give your dreams the wings to fly
You have everything you need
If you just believe
Trains move quickly to their journey's end
Destinations are where we begin again
Ships go sailing far across the sea
Trusting starlight to get where they need to be
When it seems that we have lost our way
We find ourselves again on Christmas day
Believe in what your heart is saying
Hear the melody that's playing
There's no time to waste
There's so much to celebrate
Believe in what you feel inside
And give your dreams the wings to fly
You have everything you need

I just watched Polar Express for the first time in years for the nostalgia, I will admit that as a 28 year old male, There were parts of the movie that made me cry. Listening to this song just made me start balling my eyes out. 2 years ago went through a devastating heartbreak, I don't think I still fully recovered but i've moved on. I still deal with depression and anxiety on a daily basis. I've had times where I was in a dark place and well...I don't think I need to say more about that. But I will say that Music has kept me alive. I just want to believe that things will get better.
I never get tired of this one
I think Josh has that God gifted talent!
Beautiful song! I still Believe! My late son loved Christmas. And he is my Angel all year. But more on Christmas! Bless you with your beautiful voice and songs!
An amazing sound of Josh Groban singing the Christmas song ‘If You Just Believe’.

Dreams are more than just dreams
When I first heard this song I was like wow. I guess you can say I was blown away by it, plus when I first heard this song I had nothing but chills because that's how great the song is and it's still a great song to this day and I will always be a great song.
I'm just hoping the newer generation will love this song and love this movie as much as I do.
The greatest male voice on the planet today
Love you forever Josh Groban 😘❤️
We're forever children in our hearts 💜💜💜❤🙏
Me gusta como la canta Josh, con esa hermosa voz
This is a beautiful song and I can't imagine anyone other then Josh Groban singing it.
This song reminds me of as a child watching my mother sing her christmas carols at midnight mass. I hear this song and still see her singing and smiling, perhaps her most favorite times of her 93 years of life.
aw I played this for a winter concert when I was in 7th grade. the memories 😌
I was in 4th Grade when this song and film came out.
Still feels like yesterday, we grow up so fast :(
I believe in what I believe in. You too. Dreaming is ours. May it be yours too
One of the most beautiful songs I’ve heard. Touched my heart❤️❤️❤️
Best Christmas song ever.
I'm listening dear heart ❤
2016. My senior year. This song was part of a Polar Express medley I played in band class. It took all 4 years for us to even get through the entire medley (our teacher would always end up collecting it after a few weeks the previous 3 years), but when the day finally came to finally perform, it was quite the moment.
Song hits so much harder when you’ve actually grown up :(
Still feels like yesterday when I saw this film in 4th Grade.
It Hits You Harder When Your Pet Passed Away
There is not a voice any better than this
