- The US has indications that Iran is preparing to "imminently" launch a missile attack on Israel, a senior White House official has said.
Israel has not identified any aerial threat being launched from Iran, said military spokesperson Daniel Hagari.
Israeli troops have invaded Lebanon, in what the Israeli military calls a "limited, localised and targeted" ground operation against Hezbollah.
The Lebanese prime minister said his country is facing "one of its most dangerous phases", and that one million people are displaced.
