So, it’s not exactly the three singing the chorus. These are just harmonies that are layered with the main and lead vocals to make the track more richer.
Though I do believe that in the full line up that (at least when snsd was 9 members) Taeyeon and Jessica are main vocalists. Seohyun, Sunny and Tiffany are lead vocalists
Hyoyeon and Tiffany are main rappers
Yuri and Sooyoung are vocalists
And yoona is a subvocalist, visual and centre
With Hyoyeon being main dancer, yuri and yoona and sooyoung being lead dancers
