How to easily assemble a swivel chair for patio

Hoov great video Question though The plates that go on the piece that attaches the chair to the stand Do you put one on the back and the front before tightening and placing the chair into the platform? I put 2 together so far ( got 2 to go) that i put together without those little rectangle plates that I now need to disassemble and put the plates on but am unsure how the plates are supposed to go Worst instructions in history btw that come with this product I have to "decipher" these terrible instructions! Thanks brother!
Thank you for the kind words. Man, it's been a while since I put that all together. I hope you were able to come up with a solution. Sometimes, taking it apart and fixing the mistake might be worth the trouble.
Thanks for this video! I have a different kind of swivel chair, but the same bar on the bottom. Couldn’t tell by the instructions if it was supposed to just go against the rail or slip onto it.

My dad has these swivel chairs from a different brand and was wondering if the last part requires one to just put in long pipe into base by “force” he was afraid to break it. But now I can tell him to just “sit on it” (Happy Days) after inserting top part to bottom part and hear it click into place 🎉🎊

How come when I put the chair onto the bottom piece, the bar seems to get stuck at some point in the way down? No matter what I do it reaches a point where it can’t go further, and it’s slightly different on some chairs. Only two have gone all the way down for me. I won’t care if the chairs wouldn’t all be different heights when all is said and done. What do I do?
I just sat in mine to make it go all the way down and all mine went all the way down when I did this. That's all that I can offer to you. Good luck and thanks for watching.
i have a part called an arm support bar that attaches to the front of the chair to the arm rests...the question is how this is oriented..... it can go with short side up or down......
The short side goes down or your seat will be tilted forward slightly!!!
