I wasn’t looking for someone, I’d given up and expected to be alone forever. I was sure there was no one who understood me, believed the same as me and was even near me. I found my gem of a man online, we just started talking and weren’t even planning on a relationship. We just kept talking and found out we had so much in common faith wise, grew up similar, only lived a few hours apart, and only one year age difference! There was no way we could’ve found each other except God.

This entire video fits me to a tee. I had avoided talking to, let alone dating Christian men all my life due to a deep fear of getting hurt. A few years ago I was compelled by the Holy Spirit to form a Bible study group for singles. I suddenly felt a responsibility to talk to guys to drag them to join my group for gender balance (lol). I met a stranger at a party where everyone except him was a Christian. Once I heard he was not a Christian (plus I am older), I automatically put him in the bucket of "absolute non-candidate" in my mind. I felt so "safe" and enjoyed chatting with him so much I invited him to my group. He came and our friendship grew without pressure. Quite a few times he would be the only one who came to the group or activities so we started to connect deeper (thanks flakes!). This went on for years until he came to Christ. He officially asked me out and I suddenly started seeing him in a new light like a switch got flipped. We just got married this year and he is truly my best friend and only guy friend I ever had. Let our amazing God surprise you with the best things in life.

Wow! So true. When I met him, I couldn't see myself with him and now I can't imagine being without him. We met at a mutual place of interest and became friends. My feelings for him are growing but I feel that that it's out of my control.he feels the same way.
I had to cut off with the other guy because I felt a tug in my heart saying it wasn't right. There was nothing wrong with him. But I had to say that we could only be friends because it was long distance. And now I'm chatting with someone who lives in the same state as me. And we both prayed that one day we would marry our best friend. And he says he's at peace with talking to me. But yeah we're taking things slow.

Trust your gut and intuition.
Is it drawing you closer to God? Is it in alignment of the individual purpose God has for both of your lives already that you are walking in? Is it keeping you both pure? Those are just some basics. Do you have peace? Because if you’re not clear then it probably isn’t from Him.
Ask yourself these questions. If your answer is yes to all of them then you may be in the right relationship:
1. Are you two equally-yoked? (Meaning do you both believe in Jesus Christ.)
2. Are you guys compatible with each other?
3. Can you both be faithful to each other?
4. Are you both attracted to each other?
5. Do you both love each other with your actions?
6. Are you both spiritually and mentally mature?

This video is so true as it took me three and a half years to be in a relationship with my boyfriend. He was afraid to love again after he got divorced. We are both Christian and love God 🙏🙏. He's my best friend and I pray that God would open up his heart to make him give his heart to me . .

You don't want his heart dear. You want him to have a heart for Jesus first. Then you would be second. A man that loves God with all of his heart is then enabled to love you. God is always first. You would be number 2 on his list.

Hey Mark, the timing of this video for me is mind blowing that it can't be coincidence. I've been praying for the past few days about whether God could be bringing my friend from church and I together. I totally didn't expect this, and either way, I am content if we just remain friends or become more than that. Can I ask for your prayers over this, that God's will be done between us? Thank you so much!
Sometimes I’m like,”Lord, I know you have the guy I’m suppose to be with to glorify you.” But then I’m like,”Lord I’m scared to date and I’m so insecure and xyz.” But my mom prayed over me when I was 13 for a godly man and I’m 22 now so if it is the Lord’s will He’ll help me through those insecurities and ungodly thoughts about me!
Ummm... working on your insecurities is your responsibility. It’s not fair to put that burden on your partner. I’ve learned this the hard way.

Little Sis we have to work on ourselves with the help of the Lord. Read scriptures about what God says that you are. The Bible states that we are beautiful and wonderfully made. God brings two whole people together. Not two broken or one broken and one whole. That's not the way it works my Sister. The purpose of marriage is to do the Will and Work of the Lord together. God gives the man the vision. We are the helpmeet to that vision given to him by God. That is the purpose. You're only 22 so you are still young. I would suggest truly focus on getting my education, then employment. I would keep occupied by working in the church serving the Lord. He will come when the time is right. Marriage is work. It's 2 people becoming 1 to serve the Lord. When I was your age, I purchased 2 books by Dr. Myles Munroe. Understanding the Purpose and Power of Men. Understanding the Purpose and Power of woman. I would also suggest attending singles class. If a person can not commit to God during their single years, one will not be able to handle the marriage years. When I was your age, after researching marriage and the standards/requirements God expects... I was like no way! Now, you may not feel that way after researching God's requirements and expectations. Marriage is way way more than just a wedding ceremony. I say all that in love and experience. I am twice your age and still waiting patiently. Be encouraged! Be Blessed!!! Praying for you! 🙏
The timing on this video was very “coincidental” that first sign that you mentioned was like a bright flashing light to me. The other night I was in the word and I had a conversation with a friend I’ve known since middle school and She told me she was a Christian and we started to talk more and things started to unfold. I got this warmth and heaviness on my heart that I usually get when the spirit of God is present and this time it was very heavy and I heard this voice that said this is your wife like on repeat over and over again. A couple months back God had revealed to me in a vision that my future wife would be dirty blonde with blue eyes and it so happens to be that she had dirty blonde hair with blue eyes. I’ve been praying for confirmation and I prayed last night for it and this popped up the next day. The crazy part is I kept telling myself if she is it she’s the last person I’d expect.
Thats amazing! I haven't had a dream like that. But I have peace about this guy I am currently talking to. And he has peace about me.

I have known several couples who started by working together on a project and it seemed they were drawn to work together on other projects because they communicated well with each other. It then dawned on them that they could build a family together. It wasn't a Hollywood style romance but it was the meeting of kindred spirits.

Thank you Mark! How crazy! I have met someone who I thought I was never going to date because he is 5 years older than me. Then the Lord showed me age DOESNT matter because the way him and I have spoke about deep topics. I’m only 18 and he’s 25; therefore, I know we are just friends, but I have faith one day that the Lord will speak to the man about how important I am to him as a person as I talked to him about our God! I really appreciate this video. I recently met someone at a gym, and I've been having a hard time reading him and the situation. We are never really in a position where we have a whole lot of a chance to talk, but a couple weeks ago, he suggested that we would work out together that day, and he followed through. It caught me by surprise, and it seemed really random/spur of the moment. I wondered then if he was maybe tossing it out to see the reaction he'd get because it's not a date, and it's in a setting that we're both comfortable in...it's not awkward, but yet we're getting used to hanging out in some way. If I had reacted negatively, he could've laughed it off as a joke, but if I responded positively (which I did), perhaps it would help build confidence in future interactions.
He hasn't asked me out, but I see him regularly. I've been kind of feeling like maybe we are slowly building a friendship. So perhaps what you're saying applies here.
