The part where you stopped because of the strenght was harder at first and they threw themselves into the floor. We still have some perfromances online that were like that. About props, when they finally performed it at stage (MMA 2019), the dancer behind Jimin was late to push the chair so he sat on the air, and you can't realize until you see how the dancer pushes the chair after he gets up.

Oh almost forgot! I don’t know if you remember me telling you about j-hope’s street dancing documentary series that was announced a while ago, but we finally got a release date: 29th of march! It’s called Hope on the street, I’m very much looking forward to it!

Hmm 8:45 - this part is changed from original choreo bc it was to hard for them to it so much, in a sens they could do choreo but bc this was one of the songs that promoted album they did perform it often and it was start to their tour and they do full choreo with first few songs... So before they actually go from standing to like push up, it was move that was really hard on body, you actually can see it with few first ever perfirmences they did then the decision was to change it bc they were worried of hurting. You can see it like on Comeback stage performance....
I don't think it is about trend I think it is about song, they had choreos that were very intune with lyrics and they had choreos that were more metaphor, some were chill and some hard and intense, like from begining you can find all styles so I really think it is more about song and how they want to show this song, what story choreo will tell... Like here they move like rocking front-back is to show drinking they song about.... In "Fake live" there is marionet dancing and they use mives to show "see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil"bc it fits the theme. In "Baepsae" the move like birts bc song use birts as metaphore. In "Spinek breaker " they literally show that theirs back hurt. In "Blood sweat and tears" they show temptension. And In "Black swan" they show the strugle, and in this two songs you can't really say they are close to lyrics, like showing words, but what it show on dance still give the message that the song has. In "Let go" they show leaving so good and it is such beautiful choreo but it is sexy in a way it dosen't fit the topic but for some reason it isn't weird, it fits the melody in some way... There are choreo that are very light and more fun but still have high standart like "Go go" or "Blanked kicked", "Just one day" was also very chill. And all english songs had easier choreos do mamy people could learn even if they don't dance. But there are very intense ones like "Run BTS", "ON", "Best of me", "Idol", and older like "Danger", "Fire", "DNA". They said they has to make this intense ones bc this is BTS style. So yeah all depends on the song. They aren't really type to follow trend more like to make ones.... 😋
I think you maybe mean theartical not cinematic🤔 but I get what you try to say, it was performance for MMA and if you want to blow everyones minds with performance on year end show you have to be theatrical and push all aspect of performance to full. Shows like 150% bc this show are watched by many like it is obvious that your fans will watch you, but with generał public, or fans of different bands, etc, it is a way to show tyem who you are.
