Hi Dr., my cat Precious. She is 16 years with Diabetes, Is the hyaluronic acid injection safe for her? I also came across a product called DMSO Gel that I could rub on her effected areas mainly her back hips. I found that it is okay on dogs and horses, But not a word about cats, Have you heard of DMSO being used on cats?

My cat is only 15 and has had a problem for a year. He's been over weight but he used to have a decent amount of muscle so I wasn't concerned but now he doesn't have a lot of muscle and he's still over weight. He lays around a lot but now he doesn't even eat that much so I don't even know how to help him lose weight, any advice?
