I agree. I'm someone who's both a fan of boxing and of the age that I follow the UA-cam world and all. I really hope that they keep some aspects of the previous event, like the UA-camr commentators. It makes such a difference because only fellow UA-camrs know the journeys KSI and LP have been through, and who they are. Having the regular Sky / DAZN commentators will make the event feel a lot more dry

Hes raised the stakes and cares more about creating exposure for his legit champs and prospects e.g Haney to a new mass audience rather than put on a complete freak show card to chase short term profits, it's about growth not a short term cash injection. People are just blindly bashing him but he is actually making great points. Its a good plan of getting more of the newer generation into real boxing by attaching it to KSI vs Logan. This might encourage other UA-cam stars to do the same thing or something similar mixing sports and UA-cam. They could have their own network of sport events like this one and people will want to see them. So why not have the best UA-cam stars come together and have real competition like boxing or football or something. Just do it this will be a huge game changer for people on UA-cam.

Personally,I believe that the undercard should be filled with both a mix of professional boxing matches between the experienced boxers and UA-cam boxing matches between the youtubers.If Eddie is speaking the truth and wants a new generation to experience true boxing then having a mix of these fights will keep the UA-cam based fans interested as I can foresee something happening like buying the pay per view and then just waiting till the main event,and then tuning back in,if you keep a mix of the two ,UA-cam and professional, boxing those fans won’t tune out they’ll continue to watch the fights all the way up to the main event as they won’t lose interest waiting for the final fight between Ksi and Logan there interests will be fuelled by the other UA-camr matches and then they may also enjoy the actual professional boxing matches.this would then appeal to both viewers,those who are just here to watch the actual boxing,and those that are here to watch the UA-cam boxing.If eddie has any interest in gaining money,which he does,this approach would gain much more pay per view purchases and even more positive reviews from both sets of fans.just a general idea of course not to be taken into account,as who am I to tell The professional promoter what to do.However,I wouldn’t be surprised if someone else has expressed a similar idea to mine publicly.Just my input,thanks for reading it 👍🏻
Marketing wise, its a really good move. I agree with the traditional boxing fans who hate to see a legendary world champion as an undercard. But at the end of the day, that world champion agreed to it. And it will give him a lot more exposure. There are a lot of pros and cons to this, but overall, I think its a good move tbh.

I dont think he realizes that out of the 1.3 million people who paid to watch the fight , i guarentee over half of the people bought it to watch the other youtubers box. I dont think he realizes that every youtube in the undercard was relevant and had a massive fanbase also. When u combine multiple great entertainers that have a huge combined following , thats how you get a turnout like they did. Im pretty sure this fight will not sell as much as they could just because of this. Sure its nice to see real boxers. However, those boxers dont have near as many followers as any of the youtube undercards. This fight will not be as successful as it could be at all.

I rate this so much from Eddie and its true, pro boxers always try to influence kids to take up boxing and in a time of sports like UFC becoming bigger boxing had been declining in support. These youtubers are bringing in support in the UK, US and rest of world to the sport of boxing just like Pro boxers used to do. You can call it "an embarrasment to the sport" all you want but the fact is its making fans and you never know it could bring in some future world champions that previously never would have got into the sport unless they happened to have watched their favourite youtuber participate.
The first event was a success due to cheap ppv cost...no way will UA-cam fans pay £20/$50 for a ppv...also if they charge £7 again then expect to see really low level matchroom fighters on the card

@@ryse12321 of course there's a story to it. 8/9 year old fans is an exaggeration and was directly after the events of logan's controversial suicide fiasco. ksi targeted that weakness and stories and back and forth fired up afterwards. there was a lot of hype surrounding this fight and far more of a story than most boxing fights. that's just how it is.
People are interested because Logan and KSI have massive followings and a shit load of social media influence.
Fair play I can see where your coming from that it’s embarrassing letting UA-cam’s box when boxers train there whole life to get big events like this, however I can also see why eddies done this due to money and popularity behind the sport of boxing. A smart move.
