Mam Your teaching method is very nice and give us list of adjective words and adverb words with tamil meaning day to day useage minimum 150 words it is very helpful to us, thanks in advance
Here in this sentence you can replace the word 'grew' (grow) with the verb 'became' (become). It doesn't change the meaning of the sentence even after replacing it with 'become'. So, here the verb gives the similar meaning. And it describes the quality of the noun.. the state of the noun. So we use an adjective after the word 'grew' in this sentence. But, "His business grew rapidly." Here, the verb 'grew' doesn't give the similar meaning and we can't replace it with the verb 'became'. If we do so, it will not be a meaningful one. And here, as the word 'rapidly' modifies the verb 'grew' not the noun 'business'. So, we use an adverb here.. instead of an adjective. I hope you got the difference now.
Mam your way of teaching is amazing. Keep on. I am glad to be your subscriber.
