What is different between she is no more and she was no more
My English teacher taught me that
He is gone means he is no more. Is it correct?
Yes, I have mentioned it in the lesson. I think you have not watched the full video!
Mam...But the sentence " The door is closed" is a action done/doing by somebody...So It must be passive voice...Am I correct?
It's an adjective here, not a verb.

@@EnglishwithVennila thanks mam! ❤️ I understood well!
Trancitive means directly we see the object. But intrancitive should feel indirect object only.
for example . I see.
I has seen.
Intransitive verbs have no object at all.
I smile.
I laugh.
I cry.
Madam
We are taught Arithmatic. இந்த வாக்கியத்தின் அர்த்தம் நாங்கள் Arith matic கற்பிக்கிறோம் என்றுதானா?
No, it means
"கற்பிக்கப்படுகிறோம்".
Passive voice.
Can we say he is gone instead of past away
Yes.
That's "passed away", not "past away".
Mam noun gender vedio poduga mam and noun number vedio poduga mam 🙏🙏🙏
Sure.
Super ooooooo super

When we speak time it doesn't matter,
It's only used for some Indian psc exams,
Yes.
The sentence "A house is built" can be understood in two ways: both as present simple passive and as a sentence that indicates the state of the house using be form, is + adj(built).
The sentence " A house has built" is wrong, because it's logically incorrect: a house as a subject (doer of the action) can't carry out the action of building a house.
Yes.
@@EnglishwithVennila I am a Cambridge-certified English teacher, and I can say that your way of explaining is great. As for this advanced lesson, if students are not already familiar with types of verbs and their moods, they may find it tough to comprehend the lesson. For advanced learners who are struggling to understand topics like the above, I would recommend the book, Practical English Usage, authored by Michael Swan.
@@risathahamed1761 Thank you so much! You're right. While some of them appreciate the beauty and depth of the lesson, some are at a loss to comprehend it.
Good to know that you are a Cambridge-certified English teacher and happy to see your feedback.
Yes, I have the book recommended by you. It's a great book.
He went.( He has gone). He is not here.(he is gone) are these mean same... Can I say?...
Madam, what's the difference between "be gone" and "get lost" ? Pĺease explain.
Be gone - inga irunthu poidu
Get lost - epdiyo tholanji po
😄😄👍
எனக்கு ஒரு சந்தேகம் Continous tense ல am, is, are, was, were இக்கு அடுத்து verb+ing தானே வரணும் ஆனால் He was completed, He is completed இப்படி வருகிறது ஏன்
Continuous tenses ல மட்டுமே அப்படி -ing வரும்.
am, is, are, was, were, will be க்கு அடுத்து -ed forms வரும்போது அவை adjectives ஆகவோ அல்லது verbs ஆகவோ (passive voice) வரும்.

"They're out of town" is correct.
You can also say
"They're away".
The book I mentioned is
'Essential English Grammar' by Raymond Murphy.
He had absent . How could we change into indirect speech mam.
You can either say " he was absent" or "he had been absent" but we don't say he had absent. Rather we can say "he had absented"
Mam sound increase pannunga
Me too the same problem
Good afternoon madam I am your student when should I join your classes and called you yesterday
Do you mean reading classes? Or grammar classes?
He is appointed as GM or
He is appointed GM
Which is correct
He is appointed as GM...
He is appointed as GM- அவர் GM ஆக பணியில் சேர்ந்துள்ளார்.
He appointed GM- அவர் GM யை பணியில் சேர்த்துள்ளார். He is appointed GM - அர்த்தம் முழுமையடையவில்லை.
He is appointed GM.
Madam he is gone is not correct statement but we may understand hi is gone means someone pushed him அதாவது அவன் போகவைக்கப்பட்டான் என்று சொல்லலாம் intransitive verb பயன்படுத்தி எழுதினால் error ஆகத்தான் கொள்ளவேண்டும் என்று நினைக்கிறேன்
No, it's not an error. It's possible to construct such sentences where the past participle of intransitive verbs acts as an adjective.
The sun is risen.
He is retired.
@@EnglishwithVennila ok he is retired means retired person the sun is raisen ie the raisen sun. If I am wrong sorry.
Some accepted errors are there
Eg admissions open
Why don't we say, He is not at home instead of He is gone. Is it correct, Madam?
Yes, you can say that too. Of course, it's correct.
We never use 3rd form of verb with be form of verbs like is was .... he has gone is the correct usage
Your English knowledge should be improved to understand this lesson.
Gone andbeen hasbeengood
Gone and been hasbeentaught good
