Best video on botanical printing I’ve seen yet! Your color blends are perfect. Thanks for the paper template tip. I was using the painted leaves as stamps to fill in the white space but this way seems easier! ❤
I am waiting on my supplies to get here so I can start my journey with the Gel Plates. So far this is the best video i've watched that shows me how to do textures, the way I envision my future art to be. Thank you. Looking forward to more videos.
New to gelli printing and this tutorial was exactly what I was searching for. Learned a lot, so a huge thank you 😊 With regard to the Horsetail, whilst it is an invasive species, it’s also a phenomenal plant with a myriad of medicinal benefits. It’s silica rich and tinctures/tea made from the plant are great for strengthening connective tissue. It also contains quercetin, a natural anti-inflammatory and it can help flush uric acid from the body. Horsetail has also been used to treat bronchitis and tuberculosis. A double whammy 🙌🏽
Absolutely gorgeous!! Thank you for sharing. Very pleasing outcome. My first time watching one of your videos. I’ll have to watch more cause I like what I’m seeing.
I so much enjoy watching artists use different techniques to create with gel plates. I loved these! Especially loved how you added back detail wirh the second layer. Gotta try!
one of your prints made me think of the fall when the leaves are on the ground and some are frozen under a puddle that we used to love to walk on and crack the ice.. it was the one when you used the "crackle" texture cloth plate you made!! I could even "smell" the fall scents!! Beautiful work, thanks for sharing your talent.
I very much like your texture boards rather than using a new piece of crumpled foil every few prints and same with the fabric! I surely have enough supplies that I can make some for myself and save a bit of coin!! Always like doing that when an easier way pops into my life! Love your channel.
Hi Teresa I’m a massive fan of your work 😍, I’m just getting into gelli printing and I am loving your videos, they’re so well explained and you have amazing ideas.I already did your homemade cardboard stamps on my channel, obviously gave you all the credit and linked your original video 🥰
Thank you Teresa! I appreciate you sharing your technique. What type of paper are you using in this video? And, are you cleaning your plate with plain water in the spritz bottle?
Thank you for such a wonderful series of professionally produced and well-edited videos and for sharing your knowledge, tips and tricks. Taping the paper behind your gel plate is brilliant! I had to chuckle when you said what an invasive weed horsetail is. Here in Colorado I'm delighted when I find it -- it means I'm in a moist, cool and shady spot -- a nice break from our arid summer heat!
Love your texture plate ideas- for the fabric texture plate... did you add anything to the fabric-start or fabric stiffener - to get the creases and then stick it on the plate? it looks stiff which is why I am asking. Thank you. I just found your channel and am delighted.
Yes! Framing definitely helps! I’m looking for backgrounds for some watercolor paintings but I may have to use acrylic paint instead of watercolor. Have you ever tried anything like that?? Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your fabulous work, Teresa. I would like to make some textured plates; would you kindly send me the link, as I cannot find it. Truly appreciate it!!!

Tthe rich colors with the foliage is so, so pretty.
