    Another lens to consider the 'Country club' example is that in year 2 the cost drops to 12k, so the chances of it being advantageous in year 2 onwards is much more likely when considering the cost-benefit analysis of the Country Club decision, the other matter to also consider would ofcourse be the opportunity cost of doing the "Country Club".
