Yeah it's still doesn't looks like outdated.Games like Rise of tomb raider,Far cry4, Batman Arkham knight, Infamous second son,Bioshock infinite,Doom 2016 and last but not the least Battlefield 1 hold up pretty well in terms of graphics up to this day .
This game was a sorry case of “I’m ready, but the world was not ready for me yet”
4X MSAA at 4K is simply pointless and you lose a lot of performance for no increase in visual fidelity.
Yeah, MSAA is a performance killer. DLAA is much better at half the performance cost or less.
Msaa at 4K is not 4K it's higher resolution as msaa increase the number of pixels gpu has to render.

@@AlexCS8 Max settings are useless. Playable and logical ingame settings must be use. Otherwise they must 8K and Msaa*8. For 4k msaa 2x enough i think.

Man this is the only assassins creed game that I wanna play once again in maxed out graphics.
Old UBI games were poorly optimized and is why they never work good on any future GPU.
Far Cry 3 is also still demanding...
Forza Horizon 4 and 5 are better optimization.

FH 5 can be scaled down so much it can run on cheap budget GPU's without any fans at all.

From 2014 up til now no game beat this game in representation. So ahead of its time….this was probably ubisofts “Passion Project”. I’m really trying to think the amount of time that went into the production of this game

And now we have Dragon's Dogma II that has 1/10th of the number of npcs, while being twice as demanding on the CPU.
This game was 10 years ahead of its time... Ps4 was doomed the moment this game was announced. Still the best assassin's creed experience that made you feel like an actual assasin
Even now, the quality is like a recently released game.
It's not demanding but rather not optimized to take advantage of these newer architectures + that msaa is always fps killer
Even with graphics cards of the time performance was pretty abysmal I mean we still have the videos up on UA-cam if you need to check

You can see that the 4090 isn't using anywhere near its power limit. The 4080 would likely perform almost the same as what you see here.
4x msaa in 4k no make any sense
When the games over a decade old you should be able to max out settings also it does make sense especially if you're playing on a larger monitor than 27 inches which for 4k is pretty common
If this game were made today, half the NPCs would be black

Если о сюжете, квестах, карте и пр, то это субъективно. Я выразил что по моему мнению старые ассасины лучше новых. Мнения могут разниться.
