      So the dip switch should be OFF when both cables are connected and should be ON if only cable connected ?

      @@sareeshkm8812Yes terminator should be OFF when there are two cables (device is daisy chained within the segment) and ON if only one cable is connected (beginning or end of segment). Only exception to one cable rule is stub lines. Stub lines should not have termination ON.

      @@IndustrialDataXchange Begs the question, what is a stub line?
