I don't even have Aspire ........ But, I watched this from start to finish. My drawing skills are VERY similar to those you displayed on paper. Nicely done, Peter.
Thanks for a very interesting and informative video Peter. Your videos have certainly helped me over the years to overcome obstacles that would have severely limited my options as a cnc hobbiest.
I enjoyed your videos. There is one thing to consider. Most of us out here in the cnc world cannot afford aspire. Showing what it can do is great however its like window shopping for the rest of us. I bought the desktop version then upgraded to pro. Even on a modest income I could not afford aspire. 3k out the door is a lot for a maker/hobbyist. Keep us informed and hopefully the price will lower down we all will be able to afford to upgrade. Thanks and don't let my post dissuade you from doing future videos on these powerful tools. :)
Fully understand what you are saying but in this case there is a specific reason that I made the video. I needed a 3d model of my own for the next project so it was a good time to show the modeling capability of the software. On the plus side it seems from the comments that it has helped a few people which is good. Cheers Peter
Great video. I have played with the 3D in my Aspire and failed. But now you've shown it in a user-friendly way that I can follow I should be able to move forward Big Thumbs Up.
Hi Peter! Another great video. I see you hit the big time … on the Vetric site!!! I pulled the plug this morning and bought Aspire. Now to watch all the videos to figure out how to use it! Thanks for all you do! By the way, it is mane, not main and halter not holter. We'll teach you English eventually. LOL!
Great tutorial. You should do a project every week so we can all follow along. So many things to learn with the CNC how can you ever get tired of it? Thank you.
Another great video! I upgraded to Aspire 9.5 about a year ago and have yet to work on a 3D model. I have many vector drawings saved that I would like to model. You have inspired me to set down and get to work on some of my favorites.
I think sitting down to do it is the hardest part. Spend your time making the 2d vectors and it will make the process a lot easier. Have fun Cheers Peter
I would love to upgrade from V carve pro to Aspire but I just can't afford that much cost. I would have a ball modeling in 3d! Thanks for sharing! $1300 to upgrade is to rich for my blood.
Sorry to hear that. I have tried many software's over the years and Aspire is the only one that I have managed to make something 3d that I'm not embarrassed to show and can machine. Cheers Peter
Thanks Lou This is my first 3d model and I don't really know as I don't do a lot of 3d work, but maybe that will change now that I can make my own models. Cheers Peter
Can't say I have Alan. I consider sketchup as being more suited to 3d mechanical drawing rather than artistic but it has been many years since I last looked at it and it might have changed since. Cheers Peter
well done
Thanks Michael
Excellent tutorial! The horse's head came out great! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks
You just made a difficult subject seem easy. Excellent!
Thanks Gareth
Thank you very much for this video. I was able to draw a dog for the first time with this video. THANK YOU!!!! I can't wait to try more items now.
Thanks John. Glad it helps. I will probably go back and watch it myself when I make my next model.
Thank you for a very interesting and informative video, Peter.
Thanks Roger.
EXCELLENT video, Peter! I hope to upgrade to Aspire soon, and this has given me a better look at the basics. I really appreciate it!
Thanks Mark. If you want to draw 3d it is the easiest I have used and the only one I have had success with.
Cool maynard !! Thanks Peter
Thanks Ron
Nicely done my friend.
Thanks Terry

Very good video Peter. This is one of the better Aspire tuts. Do you do enough 3D to justify the cost?
Thanks Lou

Hi Peter, did you never try using Sketchup for 3D modelling and then importing that file into V-carve pro?
Can't say I have Alan. I consider sketchup as being more suited to 3d mechanical drawing rather than artistic but it has been many years since I last looked at it and it might have changed since.
