Just finished attending Dr Lavanya mam’s workshop, It was 3 to 3:30 hrs long, i must say every single minute was valuable, what she has delivered through this workshop is like a complete package for beginners and also very useful for intermediate and advanced level singers, if you are a beginner and you start with mam’s class you consider yourself very lucky!! Because you get it all here!! sometimes we may feel we sing better, we know things and why should we take up the beginner’s course? but that is not the case here, this workshop was a big eye opener, well at least for me is what I felt, we all concentrate on the final output and straight away jump to singing a song just by listening to it say a couple of times and when it doesn’t come out well, we feel upset and feel demotivated, attending her workshop made me understand what kind of process and practice goes behind while learning a song, and how it is perceived by the audience or say judges, she has covered all the topics that is required for a singer to sing a song perfectly - A to Z literally, of course it depends upon the student to take in her inputs and practice it regularly to see the results. Apart from all this she has shared some of her life experiences which was all so inspiring, thank you for this mam, I must say you have done 100% justice in teaching all of us! Really looking forward to learn more from you mam!!
