I was raising my kids in the 90s and didn't listen to music like this but fell in love with it years later. This is maybe the 5th time I've listened to it today.
Side A and Eraserheads are the 2 biggest bands in the Philippines in the 90s. Side A for the traditional pop tunes and Eraserhead for the alternative music. Forevermore is one of Side A's biggest hits and has since been covered by other Filipino and International singers.
this song is so much memorable for me during those days of 90s my college time. i was in southern Philippines those times.that band was so so booming,,

The base player - Joey Benin composed the song, Joey Generoso is the lead vocals. This band is the reason why i learned how to play piano. Sadly, the band are not together anymore.

Joey Benin who is the bassist wrote this song for his wife. I think the back story was he went on a prayer retreat and came up with this song. Check out his daughter Clara Benin who is a wonderful singer songwriter performer and acoustic guitar player. Here is a link to a performance with Joey and his wife doing a duet with him playing acoustic ua-cam.com/video/u84wMpx5TFM/v-deo.html
