  • Today we are making cells without silicone. I decided to give the dawn dishsoap a try in this acrylic pour to test and see if I could make some big juicy cells without silicone...and it worked!! Wow this will make life alot easier for artists that don't want to deal with all the cleanup of silicone and the prep you have to do before varnish when using oils!!

I’m terminally ill. I’ve always designed jewelry with my identical twin sister, but I’m getting into pouring relatively late. But I want to spend my days doing things that bring me joy, but on SSDI my budget is next to zero, my new joy is so expensive! When you introduce ways to make it truly affordable, I’m so grateful because it may allow me to finance another day!! I’m so inspired by you. My life hasn’t been easy, but it’s sure shaping up to be a GREAT JOURNEY! 💕💕💕

I think that a great deal of this kind of art actually replicates many a different type of galaxy in outer space! Many of the modern day artists who have been working with these styles have been able to create their work in this manner and the paintings themselves turn out very nicely and awesome to look at!

I think it’s important to see mistakes. I don’t think there’s a such thing as a perfect pour. It helps to see mistakes made by others so you don’t end up playing repeat. The same artists you started out watching, were just about the same as mine for the same reasons-ish. You are an amazing artist and have inspired my art a bunch of times. Thank you for being you.

I never heard any artist mention cleaning off silicone. Thank you for that info. Who would have thought to use dish soap to activate cells. I don't know how you ever thought of using soap. Lol. I have to say though, wow, it paid off. I love this, the colors, design and cells. I was surprised the soap didn't affect anything in a negative way. I love the result. Thank you for the free E-book. That was a very nice thing to do.
