- Today we are making cells without silicone. I decided to give the dawn dishsoap a try in this acrylic pour to test and see if I could make some big juicy cells without silicone...and it worked!! Wow this will make life alot easier for artists that don't want to deal with all the cleanup of silicone and the prep you have to do before varnish when using oils!!

I feel like a lot of channels never talk about the drawbacks of cleaning the silicone afterwards so that was a nice touch
I agree. I've never heard another artist mention it, so I didn't even know it was a thing.
How do you clean the silicone off afterwards?
@@NinesCustomWorks2023 He explains it better than I can in one of his videos. Wish I was more helpful
I am 72 and ill with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. I have been a bit down and your videos make me happy. I am pouring and having a great time with it. Thank you
I like the way you think and the way you educate others on the issues that you face in your daily projects as an abstract artist! ❤❤❤
I love how the veining is bright blue
I hope, without sounding like creepy old woman, you make my life better everyday. Your caring for others is inspirational. (Ok...I am a creepy old lady)🤪
I fully understand what you're saying & feel the same 😊
Lol I guess I am too!
Hi I have something called magic
cell maker. It didn’t work for me!
Is it the same as silicone?
Novalla, U R Just being Objectively HONEST! & caring & What the world Needs MUCH Much More Of Both Of them
Me too then
I would love to see a color theory video!!
J oh yep! we want a solid color theory video!!!
This turned out awesome. I did one of my first pours about 6 years ago with dish soap and that’s when I fell in love with pouring. I’m now venturing into epoxy pours and making epoxy outdoor side tables and wall art. Art is definitely addictive 😂
Thank u, thank u, thank u, thank you. I deeply appreciate your time, wilence to share. Your art is gorgeous.
J, I am a creepy old lady and I love watching you ! You do help me, it brightens my day to hear you, and your inspirational personality.
The blue lightning is ahhmazing!!
Yes please! Color theory video would be Great!
MelyD used to put diluted dish soap in a spray bottle with water to get additional cells on her paintings... way back in the day. 👍
Look how the Corners mirror each other ! Thanks for showing the pre-varnish cured look.
Great Video and yes please do a color theory video that's one thing I struggle with sometimes
Love the unique results you can show us who are unpainted and terrified. Knowing that it is okay to make mistakes is very liberating. Thank you for the opportunity of joy!!
I’m terminally ill. I’ve always designed jewelry with my identical twin sister, but I’m getting into pouring relatively late. But I want to spend my days doing things that bring me joy, but on SSDI my budget is next to zero, my new joy is so expensive! When you introduce ways to make it truly affordable, I’m so grateful because it may allow me to finance another day!! I’m so inspired by you. My life hasn’t been easy, but it’s sure shaping up to be a GREAT JOURNEY! 💕💕💕
Thank you so much for teaching us the different cell techniques available
I think that a great deal of this kind of art actually replicates many a different type of galaxy in outer space! Many of the modern day artists who have been working with these styles have been able to create their work in this manner and the paintings themselves turn out very nicely and awesome to look at!
❤❤❤❤❤
I’ve been trying to get cells in my pours for 3 years. I’ve ask several pout artists for help and received nothing unless I wanted to pay for there recipe. You offer help and solutions so I thank you for not being selfish and sharing your experience. You do beautiful work.
You are welcome Jewell! This artform is open to everyone and I will continue to be transparent with how I get the effects I do
Thank you for showing us how dishsoap works for cells. I sorta thought saw a bit muddy. Have a blessed day/evening. 😊💗💗💗😉
Thank you so much. I'm a beginner I watch a lot of your videos 📹. Keep up the good work.
I love the final result. Love the design and colors. ❤ dry is gorgeous.
Thank you for sharing your amazing talent on here. You had stated that it's your go to that helps with your PTSD. I just wanted to let you know that watching you use the talent that God blessed you with helps calm my spirit too. Life gets overwhelming at times and watching you make these beautiful paintings helps me.
So I just wanted to let you know you have a fan in Arkansas.
I think it’s important to see mistakes. I don’t think there’s a such thing as a perfect pour. It helps to see mistakes made by others so you don’t end up playing repeat. The same artists you started out watching, were just about the same as mine for the same reasons-ish. You are an amazing artist and have inspired my art a bunch of times. Thank you for being you.
I'm always watching
Olga &Molly's

I’m new at learning about pouring acrylics. Then I found you teaching this to your viewers. I’m really enjoying your techniques & positive words👍
I like the complementary colours in this. The painting ended up very earthy, like a flooding lake bed in the red heart of Australia seen from far up.
You rock!! Such a nice break to see something great like this

I never heard any artist mention cleaning off silicone. Thank you for that info. Who would have thought to use dish soap to activate cells. I don't know how you ever thought of using soap. Lol. I have to say though, wow, it paid off. I love this, the colors, design and cells. I was surprised the soap didn't affect anything in a negative way. I love the result. Thank you for the free E-book. That was a very nice thing to do.
