We stayed in the tree covered sites , we couldn’t get level in one, no matter what we did. They were nice enough to move us to a more level site. Beautiful park that allows golf cars and has a cool Halloween weekend.
You have to book very far in advance to get a site on the lake. We were fortunate to be shooting on a week when no one was using our site. It was splendid. All of Kentucky State Parks do a great job for Halloween. We will be back!
Wes is awesome! We worked with him a few months back as part of a volunteer group helping clean up around the state park and campground. We love Green River Lake. It’s one of the best in the state for sure.
